Great manual coffee grinder
This is a well built, easy to use and adjustment manual coffee grinder. The grinder outside shell and cover is all brass, The internal grinder is made of heavy gauge steel. The adjustment to make either fine Turkish coffee or more a more course ground are simple. No special tool required, The grinder handles doubles as the grinding handle and as the adjustment wrench. To make fine powder Turkish grounds, turn the adjustment nut clockwise, more course ground, turn counter-clockwise. It would be wise for first usage to first grind raw rice. This will remove any debris from the grinder. Remember DO NOT rinse your grinder with water. You want your grinder to be as dry as possible. Just wipe it clean with a dry cloth. ENJOY YOUR COFFEE.

Beautiful craftsmanship
Ordered 2 grinders from this company and love the variations and how visually pleasing they look. Their brass/gold color looks beautiful on my kitchen countertop. The grinder itself is very well made and has some weight to it which I love. It’s the real deal!

very outdated design and materials
For the same price or less, you can get CNC machined grinder with precise adjustments for grind size that is much more durably constructed and made with clean, modern materials. A modern grinder will also provide a more accurate grind: the particles will be of a similar size, not a mix of dust and chunks.Modern grinders have computer-designed grinding mechanisms with grinding burs made of hardened steel or stainless steel. This grinder might make sense as a prop in a movie set in the 1890s, but for making coffee in the 21st century, there are numerous better options.

No plastic here!
Delivery was a day late (‘Big A’ is over-promising many times now. 3 out of 4 recent orders are delayed at least a day).A very well-built grinder with -zero- plastic pieces! Packaging is nice (except when ‘Big A’ bashes it up along the way). Design is timeless. Finish is good- for its intended use.Functions very well so far in grinding coffee. I will say though that when adjusted to its ‘finest’ out of the box limit, it was short of ‘fine powder’ desired for Turkish coffee. I ended up removing the locking nut to adjust it down even more and it now achieves a fine powder consistency. The adjustment bolt has enough friction that it should keep its new adjustment. This grinder should hold up and last for decades!

Great!
Looks beautiful, and grinds coffee powder fine. Now I can have turkish coffee whenever I want, instead of having to find establishments with brand new grinders. (After even several months of heavy use, even a Starbucks machine isn't able to grind coffee to turkish consistency on the finest setting. They grind more beans in a year than I ever will, and that's some serious wear.)FYI: setting the grind screw on the bottom is essential. I ground an ounce or so of rice to clean out metal debris, and that got me close to the target grind consistency without wasting beans. The larger cup holds about two loads through the grinder, which is nice. It's capable of backing off to espresso consistency, but not drip or French press. I have a Hario Skerton with the Blue Horse upgrade kit for that.Note: If this isn't available through a convenient distributor like Amazon, this particular item can be ordered directly from the manufaturer in Turkey. Their website is a little clunky, and I'm sure the lead time is greater (with all this COVID nonsense, I decided to play it safe with quick shipping and easy returns) but the pricing is similar, and I believe shipping is included.

Grinder is OK but handle is poorly made
I expected better quality from Turkiye, does not really feel like it is "hand made" but it is an ok grinder. My main issue is the handle, looks like poor quality and also does not fit in the grinder, one cannot close the lid over it. These grinders from Turkey used to be much better quality. I will still keep it.
