Great product and best I’ve used
Great product , only stuff that actually works on my daughters hair , she has curly thick ginger hair and no matter how much I plait her hair and keep her hair from being out , she has still ended up with nits , I’ve bought all other known brands even had some from the pharmacy on the ailments schemes and still had them. I left the product on longer than stated and fully drenched the hair but after one dose and washed off and combed through with provided comb , I had no nits and even got the eggs out , I will continually check her hair with a comb and reapply in a week or so to make sure they have totally gone but I say this and she is due to go back to school tomorrow after half term so I’m hoping all this prevention and doses of the product will not get to having more . It doesn’t smell,it’s easy to apply, it does leave a grease type residue if you get it on fabric or clothes , so I made I had a towel around her shoulders when applying and used washing up liquid to wash hands and combs . I also plait her after application to keep it all in one place .

Finally Banished My Nit Nightmare!
Finally Banished My Nit Nightmare!I've battled head lice and nits for years on and off, and it seemed like nothing worked. I've tried all the over-the-counter treatments, and I would start to lose hope. Then I tried this nit not Treatment, and it was a game-changer!Pros:Effective:This treatment actually works! Within one application, I saw a significant decrease in the number of nits and lice. What a sigh of relief after numerous failed treatments.Easy to Use:The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the application process was straightforward. With a great nozzle/applicator it’s so much easier to cover the full head.Gentle on Hair:I was worried about harsh chemicals damaging my baby’s hair, but this treatment was surprisingly gentle. No Strong Odor:I've used other treatments that left my hair smelling awful, hair felt itchy and dry but this one had a pleasant scent that wasn't overpowering and left hair feeling better.Cons:Price:While effective, this treatment is on the pricier side compared to some other options and chemist options that are free but don’t work.Overall:This nit treatment is a lifesaver! If you're struggling with head lice, give this a try. It's worth the investment for the peace of mind and freedom from those pesky critters. Highly recommend!

Thank goodness!
Absolutely did the job. After weeks of thinking we had got rid of the lice we came across this. It is thick to put on, a bit like golden syrup so make sure you have a towel over the shoulders. Left on for about an hour to make sure they’d all be dead. When it came to brushing through, dead lice were dropping out. Needs a decent wash afterwards, fairy liquid first to cut through the grease, and then normal shampoo but very happy with the results. This will definitely be my go to from now on. It is a bit pricey but to be honest, wouldn’t we all pay at least £20 to get rid of the critters!

There's a method to killing lice and it doesn't really depend on the product you use
With two kids in primary school and one in nursery, I have been battling lice for years now and multiple times per term. I am resigned to the fact that I will be treating lice at least once a month until they're in secondary. So this is a very costly task - both in money and time. So my review is based on those two factors because after trying literally every product on the market, not a single one is 100% effective first time. And if you're expecting to do a one and done treatment, you will be repeating this cycle more often than necessary because you absolutely have to break the cycle and repeat your treatment. So in my opinion, you're better off ignoring the effectiveness claims of a product and focus more on the time and money aspects and make sure your method is correct.PROSThere are lots of pros to using this product outside of the ones shown in the listing. It is the only way to get a comb through my daughters very thick hair and I think this would be a good fit for anyone with thick, curly, or dry hair. I would never, ever, put fairy liquid on my children's hair. I don't want to deal with the damage and dryness but I can understand it's a cheap option for dissolving the oil. I have found that if you apply any shampoo directly to the hair BEFORE water, it creates a creamy lather. Add little bits of water to make it lather more, rinse and repeat 2 more times. This has been effective at getting it out.It is competitively priced for what's out there but given the cons (below) the price feels a bit high as the time required to treat is so much longer than the other options out there.CONSThis is a very time consuming option compared to other products. I like that it's eco friendly and just one ingredient but waiting 2 hours to comb and trying to keep kids away from pillows and couches (because it transfers oil everywhere) is a stressful nightmare. Some of them will keep a towel on their heads but try doing that with my 2 year old, not a chance. Washing it out takes forever too. There are shampoo based treatments out there and other oil based options that take 20 minutes or less to be 'effective'. None of them are 100% like I said so I tend to purchase the quicker ones and take an awful amount of care combing. I've even had luck using pure coconut oil with a few drops of peppermint and tea tree oil, but the same time consuming issue applies to this option (and the oily mess) but it's the cheapest option I've found. The MOST important thing you can do in this process is to repeat it in 7 days (and many times I've done a third treatment 7 days after that and found the lice still kicking). I love all of the advice provided in the listing, all of it is spot on in my experience, so don't skip any of these steps and you should be lice free in no time!I would recommend this product to people with certain hair types and older children who can be responsible and stay away from textiles. If you are short on time or have younger children, you're better off getting a 15 minute shampoo option, combing really well, and repeating in a week. It is the same result. Hope this helps!

Works well
I’ve tried everything and can’t believe I’ve found something that actually works. It doesn’t sting or anything but is quite messy and makes hair extremely greasy because it’s oil. Even after washing it off. Takes a few washes for hair to finally not be greasy. Had to use washing up liquid to remove the oil then a couple of washes with normal shampoo over a couple days. Best used over the weekend so kids aren’t going to school with greasy hair, but obviously can’t always plan when we get lice. Great product overall.

What a Horrible Product!
This is such a terrible product in comparison to other products for the same thing! it’s so thick really over oily and gloopy and u have to wash it out of your hair with fairy Iiquid as per instructions and even then i had to re-wash it again the next day also just to get rid of the oilyness! Most importantly tho IT DID NOT WORK!!!! so please don’t waste your money! What were u thinking of Dragons Den!!!!
