Encouraged my son to read!
My son drags his heels when it comes to reading out loud/to me. He was so excited to see "Hero Factory" I don't think it registered it was a book. He asked me to read it to him, but I was doing dishes and said it would need to wait, suggesting he could start the story and I would finish up reading when dishes were done. He was reading The End before I rinsed the soap off! Awesome! We need more Lego books here for sure! :)

Great book for the Lego Hero Factory lover in your house! My 7yr old Son loves the Hero Factory toys, movies and the books. He has 8 books and read them again and again!!

Fun reading for our boys
Bought as a gift and to our delight our boys are never tired of reading any story Lego/Hero Factory related. Our 6-yr old reads this level 2 book easily.

less than "used - very good" condition
The book I received was definitely used, but I wouldn't even remotely classify it as "very good" condition. It was fair, maybe good, at best. The cover was damaged with wrinkles and bent on all sides: front, back, spine, etc.

I wish there were more!
My son has never enjoyed reading until the Lego books. He voluntarily reads these books all the time. I just wish there were more Brain Attack stories.

Harder than I expected a level '2' reader to be
I just finished going through this with my 2nd grade son and was surprised as we worked through it how many difficult words there were, considering it's a level 2 reader. After he finished, I went to the Accelerated Reader site to print out the page on the book for the binder I keep showing a record of what he's read (we homeschool). The AR folks listed it as a 4.8, meaning it is written to be "easy" to read for a 4th grader who is most of the way through 4th grade. Just so you know what you are getting...As for the story, it was as formulaic as the other sorts of this type of reader. We are introduced to a variety of fearsome looking creatures who we are told are all naturally gentle, peaceful folks until the evil Brains have taken over control of the creatures various super-powers or super-weapons.My 2nd grade son liked it ... sort of ... finding the creatures exciting, but the words somewhat too difficult to slog through to really enjoy the ideas presented. We are now back to a second book of Henry & Mudge stories and, although they aren't as vicious or thrilling, they are more enjoyable, delightful and charming ... and understandable. The simplicity of the story can be appreciated b/c the words aren't too hard.

Great for Hero Factory fans!
My little one is only 4 so not reading on his own yet (which this book is graded for) but it makes a fun read as he's such a huge Hero Factory fan. If yours is the same then I'd recommend.

It's OK...
If you have a child who likes lego hero factory they will like it. It just tells you about brain attack. The downside is that It is very similar to The Brain Wars (Level 3).

Loved the brain attack story
Brought the hero factory toys my son has to life for him so highly recommended. Would like another book at lower reading level so he could read it himself

My son loves learning ALL about lego hero.
He would struggle to read it on is own but he likes reading this book rather than the selection from school.
