Based on previous reviews I decided to go ahead and try this shirt but I would get a larger size than she normally wears. Worked like a charm. She just turned 7 and she is tall and slim. I ordered a 10/12 and it looks great. So if you want this shirt but are worried by the reviews, this has been my experience.

This shirt was such a hit with my daughter and myself! I ordered it for her to wear to school on her 5th birthday. The package was delivered within 48 hours, and they even included some stickers for my daughter to enjoy! I was so impressed with the quality of the shirt. It was a little long for her, but I did order the 5/6. I simply rolled it in and it stayed just fine. She loved feeling special on her birthday, and this shirt helped in achieving that! I just wish they made it in more colors. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase and I'll be ordering from them again!

The shirt is really cute. Nice thick fabric. It is really really small. I ordered a 14/16 and it's more like an 8/10. It's cut very slim. I had to stretch it several times b4 my daughter could get into it. It's too late to return or try to order another one because her bday is tomorrow so yes she will be wearing it. It fits snug like a leotard snug. Oh well it's just for a few hours.

Super cute shirt that I am glad I got for my daughter’s birthday. Luckily I read other reviews that said order a size up so I did. My girl normally wears a 6x (those are a smidge loose on her) so I ordered a 7/8 here. When the shirt arrived it fit her around the belly and waist just right but the sleeves where a little big and the fabric at the bottom went down so low it could have been a dress! I cut off a lot of fabric and re-hemmed it and it was perfect!

this shirt is NOT a child's XL - though it says so on the tag - it BARELY fits my 50lb 8 year old who currently wears a 6x. i won't be shipping it back b/c the shipping costs me as much as the shirt practically - but i'd think twice about ordering this particular shirt (ordered in black). really disappointing. if you plan to order this - you should order 2-3 sizes UP.

I'm waiting for another shirt to come in the mail now, because my daughter can't fit this at all. It's extremely small. Her 7th birthday party is on the 23rd and I'm worried because she might not have anything to wear. I can't cancel her reserved party space, so I'm hoping my other order from another seller comes. I will need to return this, because there's no use for this tiny shirt.

This item runs particularly small. I purchased it for my 7 almost 8 yr old who normally wears a 7/8 and is slender. It JUST fit her. I would definitely recommend sizing up if your child needs a looser fit.

This birthday shirt is great for the price and was delivered very fast. My 9 year old is slim and it fits her well. It’s a very slim fitting shirt in my opinion and was a little long but worked great to wear to school on her birthday!
