I love this thing. Its sturdy, retractable. You can swivel it to face whatever direction you want. Powerful magnet. I had one similar but the swivel aspect of it got weak and would always just flop down, causing my phone to face downward towards the floor. Installing was easy and simple. Put it exactly where my other one was, once I removed my over one and wiped it down.

This is a great product. I've used almost 100 different magnetic mounts and this one is one of the best due to it's magnetic strength and versatility. The magnetic strength is one of the strongest I've dealt with, definitely no worries about using a full sized tablet with this (tried with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with no slippage even on bumpy roads). But this probably contributes to the minor flaw that I'll describe a little later. The build quality is great. Everything is mostly solid. The suction cup had 2 methods of adhesion that works together. First, there's an actual adhesive, which alone would be enough to keep on my dashboard without moving. Then there's the standard lever suction, which adds more security, especially if mounted to windows. The elbow adjustment locks with a turn knob which keeps it mostly solid. The main issue I have is the arm that extends. They market the fact the main arm can be adjusted with one hand due to the fact it uses a spring and bearing detend so you can just extend and retract the arm by a simple push or pull. While this is true, it leads to a problem I've come across. Like I mentioned earlier, the magnets are strong. If you adjust the arm to a length that is NOT at full extension, you'll more than likely end up pulling it to full extension when removing the phone from the mount. The magnets are so strong that they overpower the strength of the arm detents. My perfect adjustment is with the arm fully retracted (shortest length) and when trying to pull my phone straight off, it pulls the arm to full extention. I've found 2 ways to remedy this without permanently altering the product. First, place the metal plate between your phone case and phone. This increased distance decreses the amount of magnetic force being applied, allowed the device to be removed with less energy. On my phone, the metal plate is on the outside of the case, so this option does not work for me. Second, pay attention to how you pull the device off the mount. Depending on which metal plate you use (it comes with 3 different size/shapes) lifting it off the mount from one side decreses the energy required to remove the device. Using both the rectangle plates on the outside of my case, I was able to remove my device without accidently extending the mount arm by lifting the device off the mount from one side. When in portrait orientation, if I life my phone off from either the left or right side only, it comes off without extending the arm. Overall, one of the best mounts I've used.

Hands down the best car mount on the market. I use this in my Dodge Charger, and as long as you place one of the metal plates inside your phone case, your phone stays locked in place until you pull it off. My only critique is the suction/adhesive struggles in extreme Midwest summer heat. Since my car sits out, the mount eventually degrades after a couple of years. My October 2023 purchase finally gave out, but it's such a stellar, convenient product that I am ordering a replacement anyway.

I have been using the APPS2Car Magnetic Phone Mount daily in my SUV since early 2023. After three years, through summer heat and cold winters, this mount has proven to be an incredibly reliable piece of gear. Here is my honest, long-term breakdown of how it holds up. You must stick the included metal plate to your phone or case. I placed mine on the outside of my phone case. The magnetic pull is incredibly strong. My phone has never fallen off this mount, even when hitting potholes or driving over rough railroad tracks. The suction cup uses a sticky gel base combined with a vacuum lever. I mounted it to my windshield in 2023, and it has only lost suction once during the early days of use. A quick rinse with warm water restored the stickiness instantly. The extendable arm is excellent. It brings the phone close to my fingertips. It does vibrate slightly on bumpy roads when fully extended, but not enough to blur the screen. The best part of this magnetic mount is the speed. I just slap the phone onto the pad when I get in and pull it off when I leave. No fumbling with side clamps or spring-loaded grips. It has great adjustability. The ball joint allows for easy switching between portrait mode for navigation and landscape mode. I think this is one of the most durable and secure suction-based mounts on the market. Three years of daily use proves it is built to last.

This phone mount worked perfectly for me. It allowed me to position my phone exactly where I wanted it. I have not yet done any driving. I will update my review after driving a couple days with it mounted and the phone attached and charging.

My daughter recommended this to me after I had a few others that did not work, it sticks to just about any flat surface in your car and it hold your phone exactly where you want it, phone does not come off the magnet until you take it off. Powerful suction and magnet. Absolutely would buy again!

Holder works OK, but there is no set screw on the telescoping arm. So, when the phone is removed from the magnetic pad, the telescope slides out to maximum length. It’s really no big deal, however, I would prefer removing the phone and forget about resetting the holder. I missed the lack of a set screw when I bought it.

The extendable arm and one-hand operation add to the overall convenience. It’s worth noting that it’s not MagSafe compatible and doesn’t have charging capabilities, but that wasn’t an issue for me. En mi caso, a pesar de montarlo en el salpicadero, no necesité pegarlo con la base adicional que trae, sino que simplemente con la ventosa y una especie de gel un poco pegajoso que ya trae de serie quedó perfectamente fijado y hasta hoy (lleva unos tres meses montado). Como habréis leído en la descripción del producto, el soporte se puede orientar en un ángulo de más de 180 grados, permitiendo por la noche incluso usarlo como Hud reflejado en la luna del coche. Además tiene una bola en el extremo que también permite orientarlo lateralmente para ponerlo mirando hacia el conductor, acompañante o dejarlo centrado, así como en horizontal o vertical. Por si fuera poco, el brazo es un poco extensible para ajustar la profundidad. Este ajuste no da demasiado margen pero sí ayuda a integrarlo mejor con el ángulo de tu salpicadero. En todos los casos la fijación es muy estable y no tienes la sensación en ningún momento de que se vaya a caer lo que sea que tengas fijado en él. Incluye tres imanes de distintos tamaños para adecuarlos al peso del dispositivo que quieras fijar. Lo fantástico del asunto es que es el propio imán, por una cuestión puramente física, es el que se encarga de centrar automáticamente el dispositivo con solo acercarlo, por lo que lo coloques como lo coloques siempre te va a quedar centrado. Además se retira muy fácilmente girando ligeramente en vertical. Puede hacerse con una sola mano. En definitiva, un soporte bueno, bonito y barato que sorprende por su excelente calidad de fabricación, incluso con detalles en imitación piel con ribetes en color rojo, y que cumple perfectamente la función para la que ha sido diseñado. Sin duda un cinco estrellas bien merecido. Muy recomendable.

Ich hatte mich innerlich darauf eingestellt, dass der Arm im komplett ausgefahrenen Zustand durch Fahrbahnunebenheiten schwingen würde, aber was soll ich sagen? Das Teil ist bombenfest! Nicht nur hält das Telefon (mit der mitgelieferten Metallplatte in der Silikonhülle eingeklebt) sicher ohne zu verrutschen oder abzufallen, auch der Mechanismus rührt sich keinen Millimeter bei Bedienung. Vorsicht ist angebracht beim erstmaligen anbringen, der Saugnapf ist mit einer Art Gel versehen, der Versuch an der Bahnschranke "mal eben schnell" den Saugnapf um 5cm tiefer zu setzen wäre fast kläglich gescheitert, weil er selbst nach Lösung der Arretierung partout nicht von der Scheibe loslassen wollte ohne rohe Gewalt anzuwenden.
