Herb drying rack perfect for drying larger harvest
Love this, it's small but seperated, perfect for drying all my many garden herbs. I hung it in my laundry room so it will be dark for the herbs ( more flavor). It's made really well, not cheep feeling. However, I feel it is way overpriced for what it is at 30.00. Similar products are much cheaper but are honestly huge and unrealistic for my purpose. I assume you are paying for the convient size but it just doesn't make sense. However, if it last it will be worth it. I can do the same drying hanging by string but this dryer will keep dust off the top of the herbs which is why I caved and bought it, plus it saves a good deal of space. If you grow garden herbs and want to harvest to dry them this is good if you have multiple large producing plants. If you have some tiny plants or a small indoor herb garden then just tie bundles up with cotton string and allow to dry for 2 weeks in your closet, more for thicker leaves like sage. To keep dust off, the trick is to hang the herb so that it hangs over the hook of a metal clothes hanger then you can put a styrofoam plate upside down through the metal hanger ( like a flying saucer over your herb bundle) this will keep the dust off and still allow the air to try the herb. This method works great but I personally needed this hanger because I have a lot of herbs
