I honestly don't think I've ever posted a negative review before but I'm so disappointed with this watch! It says in the descriptive title that the watch has luminous hands.... uh where?? My watch also arrived with the second hand off and it is driving me crazy! I'm a nursing student so I thought I'd pay a little more for a quality watch that has the bells and whistles such as military time, silicone bands, and LUMINOUS hands instead of getting just a normal watch for taking vital signs but honestly a $10 watch from Walmart probably would've been better. I should've read the more recent reviews of other people being disappointed instead of just going off the name and the stars. The picture I've shared shows how the second hands are off and that the hands are NOT luminous.

Love it, it’s worth the price! I’ve been looking for a silicone analog watch for work for awhile. It came nicely packaged. The band is soft, thick and comfortable. The face is big enough for my small wrist. The perimeter of my wrist is 6 inches; impressed and happy they provide petite watches! The color is a bit brighter than advertised but I don’t mind it. I would recommend this to my other medical field colleagues.

I chose this particular watch based on the description saying it has luminous hands. As a nurse, this feature is quite important as we are often in low light situations for taking vitals. The size is perfect, I have small wrists. Extremely disappointed at the false claim about the luminous hands though, I would have likely chosen another watch had the description been honest. Plus side otherwise it looks great, wears comfortably, it just won't end up meeting my needs.For future thoughts, I would have loved to have had an option with the date of the month and more color variations.

For quite a long time I’ve been trying to find a watch with a petite face yet the numbers big enough to be seen, a pretty pink strap and soft. Something that looks sharp, classy and classic but not too dressy. That everyday watch. Well when I was looking at the TIMEX watches which have been around for ever I noticed this SPIDEL Watch. I remember my grandmother having one for so long and asking her when I got older if she just always changed it for the same color and design watch. She laughed and said no these are very well made and stand the test of time. So I am now joining my late grandmother in enjoying this beautiful watch, which is so soft and comfortable and actually can cross from the everyday to the dressy and I know i will be enjoying it for a long time to come.

Update! The company reached out to me! Happily replaced the watch.Actually sent me a size bigger which has backlighting. Love it!! Thank you Speidel!I bought this per the description saying it has luminous hands. It's an important feature as being an EMT taking vitals it isn't always good lighting. The size is great for petite wrists as I have. Super disappointed at the false info in the description.

**UPDATE****They never valued my warranty when a piece of the watch broke off. This seems like a very well made watch. Dial very easy to read although as some reviewers also noted the hands don’t seem to glow in the dark. Likely depends on how much light they’re exposed to but I wouldn’t count on being able to tell time in the dark. Reason it’s not for me is because my wrist is small, about 6”. And while I didn’t have the band on the tightest hole, when watch face was centered on my wrist the excess band stuck out (even with loops) and it tended to make the watch roll on my wrist. For me, as much as I liked design and look of the watch, it just wasn’t comfortable to wear. And yes, this was the Petite version.

It's a beautiful watch, but there isn't a single thing luminous about it!

I purchased this for nursing school and loved the fact that it had a distinct red seconds hand, I also have very small wrists which was a motivator for purchasing the petite size. While it did fit, the face was so small I found it rather pointless for my needs (and I have 20/20 vision).Additionally, my first impression when I pulled it out of the delivery packaging was the fact that it had a price tag on it, stating that it was $59.95. I paid $90... not sure how they valued this at $90, or even $60 for that matter. Nothing special about it...

I was looking forward to this watch as I was looking for something simple and for work. The 24 hour numbers are very hard to see, even with the white background. The watches “luminous hands” did not work either. I also think my watch came used due to the plastic part that needs to be removed around the dial was not there. Not what I expected.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend who's a nurse working on night shifts. She loves the look but was very disappointed to see that the watch wasn't glowing in the dark. As she works the night, she often needs to be able to look at her watch in the dark so this seemed like a good option because the description says that the watch got ''Luminous Hour & Minute Hands that Glow in the Dark'' ... But it doesn't ! Not even a faint of a glow... So disappointing !

We bought this for our daughter who is entering the medical field. She was thrilled with the watch and it looks just as it was described. We are happy with this purchase. Our daughter has slim wrists and the band fits her well.

The watch is petite, but that's better for nursing. Regular time is easy to read but the 24 hour is very small. Strap would be easy to clean which is a must. I purchased it for a graduate nurse as a Christmas gift. Overall I like it, I'm hoping she will too.
