Top Collection 12" Small David Statue by Michelangelo in White Marble Finish

I love Michelangelo’s art, and in particular, David – the original stands in Galleria dell’ Accademia di Firenze. This mini-reproduction of the 17 feet high statue, is a beautiful piece. The sculpting details are remarkable and indeed museum quality: the tension in his hands that hold a stone and sling, the contracted muscles, the clavicle, the curls of his hair, the defined abdominal area, and that stoic gaze.It arrived in a beautiful blue box labeled “Studio Collection Veronese Design”. If they could make one, let’s say 5 feet, I would definitely buy that too :-)

Bigger, more beautiful and detailed "David" than I've yet seen. White like the original Marble sculpture, this "David" stands inches taller than the off white resin ones I've had in the past. Truly a beautiful piece, I recommend for anyone wanting a very well done scaled down replica. Expertly packed in custom contoured styrofoam, "David" arrived to me in perfect, NEW condition. My only complaint is the Amazon driver came up my driveway in warp speed, without any respect for private rural property. I'm sure if the seller had any control over the delivery, it would have been delivered with the same care that was taken to pack this beautiful statue!!

This is the exact replica he was looking for. Since we will never be able to travel back to Italy, we were very sad that workers stole his miniature statue of David from his home during renovation of his roof and home so this came across and I knew I had to get it. The material is extremely heavy. It’s extremely detailed and worth every penny if you’re looking for a miniature statue of David and you can’t go to Italy and get, a replica or see the real thing this is for you

For the size they really nailed the detail.

The media could not be loaded. Excellent quality- feels like alabaster. I particularly love the look of a frosted alabaster, always have. It’s got a solid fit and finish appearance. I ordered a few more busts, and I would be ecstatic if they were all made in similar fashion and material. Rather then just a hollowed out piece of clay.

I bought this item as a gift for a friend for Christmas. Recently, I was able to see the item in person (I didn't open the box when i presented it the gift). I feel the weight and the mold was better then expected for the price of the item.

The quality is honestly really decent for the price you are paying and the packaging of it was great. It has some weight to it and the marble finish it has is pretty good. Honestly I was a little unsure as to make this purchase in the start, but I’m glad I did.

Lo compré para regalarlo y les gustó mucho. Es un tamaño adecuado, se ve bien detallado, es la primera escultura qué compro y no tengo mucho conocimiento sobre el tema pero lo volvería a comprar.

Es una réplica de excelente calidad. De buen tamaño y de material fino. Sin duda vale lo que cuesta.
