I pre-ordered this book for myself. To date I have purchased two more books and sent them to loved ones and also suggested to many others to go out and purchase this great book at such a cost price. I have read many books and to date this is one of the deepest books I have read. It's for people of all ages whether you're Christian or Non-Christian, believer or non-believer. Bishop Jakes is truly a special man of God and in this book he takes you to a higher level of self-awareness. This is a very powerful book that will take you to new heights in your life, so be prepared to acknowledge the truth about yourself and be ready to discover and accept yourself for who you really are while making the necessary corrections needed to "Reposition Yourself". Everyone should read this powerful message brought to us by this Great Spiritual Messenger.

I knew little about T.D.Jakes, except from his critics about him being a prosperity gospel devotee. I read this book to learn for myself...to read in his own words and come to my own conclusion. In a nutshell, I think he is an honest advocate for Christ and his approach is neither 'hellfire and brimstone' or that of a 'prosperity preacher'. I think Jakes is #1 a Christ believer and 2nd; someone who learned from his own experiences that the word of God, APPLIED will prosper you in every way. He does apply it and encourages the reader to apply it and talks about how that repositioning process, in time, can shift your focus toward the true picture of who you are; i.e. a beautiful creation in God's image who has more potential than you realize. He encourages you to see the bigger picture and look above race and circumstance. He gives practical, sound advice. He encourges self responsibility. He has been very successful, yes but so what?

As a coach, I found this book very encouraging and inspirational for me personally and professionally. There are theories that apply to many areas of coaching, i.e. life, career, and spiritual. While this is my first time reading a book by Pastor T.D. Jakes, I have purchased others that I am eager to read after finishing this one which is taking a little longer because I am taking notes to add to my coaching references notes. This was a good book to buy and keep referring to often for my personal study and reflections and as a resource in my professional work with clients.

As expected from Bishop TD Jake's, this book is simple reading, mind blowing, inspirational, motivating and encouraging. This book helps you take an honest look at your life and helps you measure where you are vs. where you intended to be. It's a must read but before you do, be sure to have a highlighter and post-its near by because this book is full of Golden Nuggets!!!

Reposition Yourself by Bishop T D Jakes is absolutely AWESOME. It's one of those books that you don't want to put down until you get to the end and still want more. It's a must read for everyone from teenagers to older people. I think everyone will get some out of this book. Once you read it, you will be inspired to look at your life differently and make a change. What a great piece of work.Get the book, read it, and begin to change your life. You have the tools to make it happen.

Já havia comprado a versão em português quando me veio à cabeça a vontade de lê-lo em inglês. Pesquise na Amazon e achei a versão original e em inglês e outra em espanhol. Comprei essa em inglês e estou gostando muito! Agora estou matando dois coelhos com uma cajadada só. Além de ser edificado por esse livro, estou aperfeiçoando o meu inglês com ele. Se vc for nível avançado pelo menos (no inglês) recomendo a leitura na versão original. E não se esqueça que há vídeos no YouTube do Bishop T. D. Jakes acerca do título do livro, ou seja, Reposition Yourself.

I encourage everybody who needs changes in his/her life to read this book. it is a very powerful and challenging book. there is so much wisdom in there.I am also satified with amazon, the book come from uk to italy even before the predicted date, in very good conditions.

I am really enjoying the book and only have two chapters to go. I read it in bed. The reason I bought it is I saw T.D. Jakes on a two Sunday special with Oprah, I think in November, and have also seen him on Dr. Phil. He is an amazing man. Janet Ceolin

I bought the workbook 1st not realising that there was a book that needed to be read 1st. Once I bought the book the workbook made a lot of sense. For anyone wanting to purchase both I would high reccommend. Its not your typical self help christian inspired book which wa very refreshing to me. I am only half way through and really enjoy the insight this is giving me to really work on myself. I hope by the end of reading this book to really reposition my life and be where I want to be.Happy reading all!!
