Wolf Cookie Cutter

This is the cutest thing ever! But there is too much detail so it won't release from the dough. Highly dissatisfied.

This wolf cookie cutter is a nice size, sturdy, and leaves a good impression in the dough. Unfortunately, the cookie dough will not release from the cutter. The "fur" along the bottom of the cutter (the wolf's neck) is so finely done that the dough sticks and is impossible to get out.I tried chilling the dough, rolling the dough more thinly, spraying oil on the cutter, dipping the cutter in flour, dipping the cutter in water-- nothing worked.I finally put a sheet of plastic wrap over the dough and then pressed the cutter into that to make a slight impression, and then cut around the design with a knife to make the cookie shape. It doesn't look great.So, I'm disappointed. If the company just simplified that fur, making it less detailed, I'm sure this cutter would work just fine.I would buy from the company again, because the product quality is great, but I'd be very wary of intricate designs with lots of detail.
