Looney Labs Firefly Fluxx Upgrade Pack

In order to make full use of the pack I had to buy a couple of single cards for Yolanda and Bridget

Nothing to special in this pack and certainly doesn't change the gameplay. Especially if you're not familiar with the firefly series, Which I am not. Few Keepers, Few Goals, Creepers. More of the same really. Quite expensive for a few cards and would give a miss unless you're a completionist.

A little pricey for the upgrade pack, but a great addition to the FLUXX Firefly game.

So, when playing Fluxx, I found out there were expansion packs. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after a quick look and then giving the expansion a chance in Firefly Fluxx, it really brings on the laughs with what is already in the deck, and additionally with what cards become added. It's worth it to get this if you get the main deck. A recommendation however is to take out the Reavers and Hands Of Blue creepers from the original deck, as the expansion has them with "upgraded features", but having multiple copies of these creepers is a bit much. Definitely pick this one up.

So this pack only has a handful of cards in it. There are two new keepers, some goals that incorporate them with the others, and the same two keepers from the base pack that have a new ability on them. One of the keepers does mention new cards that were not included in the pack and from what I have found online they are not released yet. It looks like this upgrade pack was released early August 2018... I put four stars primarily because I am bummed the cards are a slightly different color from the side than the old style so you can kinda tell at least where the upgrade pack cards are when they are mixed into the deck.

It's Firefly, it's Fluxx, it adds to the base game of Firefly Fluxx, what's not to love?
