Selling Smooth Sliding by Brenna Stroklund
I have been playing sports for a long time now, and always try to keep up with the trends. The biggest one in volleyball is wearing arm sleeves, and for good reason. I first discovered them while watching volleyball on TV. Then I started to see colleges around me wear them. So I decided to try them out before the season started. Funny enough now at the end of the season, our whole team wears them everyday.Amazon is my go-to, and the cheap price of only 10 dollars for a pair is a great deal. The quality is perfect for anyone looking to protect themselves from the sun, cover up tattoos or burn marks, or just keep cool on a hot day. They came in the mail on the expected delivery time and were packaged well. When I opened them, they were sealed in a little plastic bag and folded. My first reaction was how soft they were; I wanted to put them on immediately. They were so comfortable that I wore them to volleyball practice that day.My first experience wearing the sleeves was all around positive. While diving on the gym floor, the sleeves were very smooth and prevented me from having any floor burns. During the practice, they stayed cool and breathable the whole two hours. So much so that I forgot I was wearing them at times. I did get one small hole in the elbow on the left arm. To prevent this I try to rotate the pairs so that they stay effective, however I don’t see a way you can patch the holes. I wouldn’t expect them to develop holes if you are doing any of the following activities: hiking, working, biking, spending time outside, or even bowling. In that case, they are actually very resilient.I was so impressed that I recommended these sleeves to my good friend on my team who is a phenomenal volleyball player. She plays the setter position which means she is always diving and sliding on the floor after balls. Every practice she wears them and also comments on how they look cool. Since she is planning on paying college volleyball, she bought her own pair off of amazon as well. After a few months of usage, they are still very promising. I just put them in the washer and dryer to get cleaned and that does not seem to damage them at all. Occasionally I will air dry them as well, but if you would rather use the convenience of the dryer, that is totally safe for this product. The only thing that is affected by the wash is after a few months the “Sports Trail'' logo starts to break and peel apart. I can usually go for about three days of two hour practices before I need to clean and wash the sweat out. After that they are still very soft and don't have odor.Overuse is what makes or breaks these sleeves. They are so cheap that I was impressed with the quality right away. However, when you use them almost everyday for 3 months, they can start to fall apart. Keep in mind that I am playing sports with them on a regular basis, so if your purpose doesn’t include physical activity, then this does not apply to you. Towards the end of my volleyball season, some of the seams on my oldest pair started to come apart. This is probably caused by my having to pull them up after a long play or match.I highly recommend giving this product a try for any purpose needed, especially sports. The occasional wear and tear is expected of any athletic gear, but you will receive great results for the duration of your season.

They Work
Keeps the sun off your arms while competing. Whether that be cycling running or golfing. On hot days they actually make your arms feel cooler. Finally they fit great little to no problem sliding them on and minimal seams to bunch up or adding unwanted tension. That's code for perfect compression. Great product.

Good protection for sensitive skin
I am a dog trainer with a medical condition that causes frequent skin rashes and sensitive skin. These do the job for me. They stay up, have a nice feel to them, lightweight and protect my arms from puppy scratches. Its still too soon to see if the color fades as reported by some. I gave 4 stars because I would prefer to not have the company logo/emblem on them especially when wearing work attire. Other than that, quality and function are good.

Actually cools your arm.
Used this on a road trip and it worked perfectly. Was skeptical about the product but it blocked the sun and was actually cooling to my surprise. The material is very smooth but will snag if you're not careful. I got the grey and white combo and the white is true to color, not off-white at all, the grey is more of a soft grey. The upper elastic cuff is a bit tight so if you have bigger arms they might be uncomfortable but definitely not a deal breaker.

Very useful cooling arm sleeves for cyclists.
Use these for road cycling and they provide excellent comfort for those chilly morning rides. And even after things warm up a bit they’re still comfortable. I’m 6’ 185, with fairly long arms and these fit great. These easily slip on, and when in place, they reach just above my bicep, to just below my shoulder, and extend to my wrist just short of my palm. They never crept downward or inched upward from when I put them on. They’re breathable just like a jersey, and if things get too warm, they come off easily and fold up and store neatly in my jersey rear pockets. A must have for cyclists as the weather cools.

Durable, great sun protection. Better quality than some others.
I have had these sleeves (the regular, not the non-slip) for exactly two years, and have worn them for dozens of tennis matches and cycling rides and Sunfish or Laser sailboat trips. They continue to give me 50 SPF sun protection (or something like it -- I don't get burned, anyway), they still have their elasticity, they still stay up on my biceps, and they don't show any sign of wear. They cover my arms all the way up to my cycling jersey, and I'm a long-armed 6' 2" man with 16" biceps. My wife also can wear them, and she's 5' 7". They really are close to unisex/all size. They are now dingy (started out white, now are slightly stained) but you must expect that for any white workout gear, and they otherwise they perform as new. I'm very impressed. These are much better quality than some cheaper models. My only complaint is that this company does not offer them also in a thumb-hole version. Please offer that too, I would buy it. (I have not tried any other colors, just the white. I also usually only hand-wash them, and only rarely use the washing machine, and only hang dry, as directed. That supposedly extends the life.)

Great buy for the money.
These sleeves were comfortable with good fabric quality. Breathable, blocks the sun effectively, stay in place, and is a good value for the money. Worked well for my needs. Very light compression which is what I wanted.

They are good. I cut holes in them and used them for a Jeff Hardy costume. Worked well.

Excellent value, slight question of durability
I use these when I run and play golf, and they do exactly what I need - they block out the sun without making me feel I'm wearing long sleeves. They also dry very fast (whether from sweat or washing - I do not put these types of clothes in the dryer).I did notice that after a couple of rounds of golf, there's some pilling on the sleeves, but I can live with that as it's quite minor and to be expected given the amount of movement. They are still tremendous value!
