Island Bamboo Pakkawood 11-Inch Spurtle, Blue

Years ago I was given a kitchen tool that looked similar to this, only it was made of plain wood. I had no idea it was called a spurtle; I only knew it worked well and it became my favorite 'spoon.' Now I have a new favorite with this Island Bamboo spurtle (in Rainbow). It makes cooking more fun because of its vibrant colors and comfortable, sturdy handle. This is going to make a really great stocking stuffer later this year. A must-have for anyone who enjoys cooking and baking.

This is the second time that I've purchased this item as a gift. My mother loved it so much that my daughter in law asked for one for her birthday. I think I get one next! It's beautiful on display, smooth and lightweight to use, and very sturdy. Thank you, we love this.

Was so excited to receive this beautiful implement yesterday. However, when I used it to stir pancake batter this morning, I kept noticing dark bits of wood in the batter that I had to lift out -- the bottom of the spurtle was disintegrating into the batter! For how much I loved this attractive product, I unfortunately have to send it back. Perhaps I got a defective one and others are okay? May look for version that is not as lovely, but doesn't shed small dyed wood chips. Disappointed.

This thing is perfect! Just the right amount of curve to scope stuff up. Gets into the edges of the pot nicely. Much better than a regular wooden flat utensil or spoon. Wish I knew about these sooner. This particular spurtle looks nice and appears to be well made. So far cleaning it has been easy.

I love this Spurdle! I bought it to use in my Instant Pot to make stirring and scraping easy and to keep from burning myself with short utensils. I actually find myself using it for so many things. Comfortable grip and easy to clean.

I like the shape where it is easier to mix ingredients. Lightweight and nice looking

Wanted to love but for me this ends up being uncomfortable and heavy to hold, the handle tends to fell awkwardly chunky after trying to cook with it. I don't have small hands as a women, so I am surprised it was not more comfortable to use. Sad it didn't work for me. I will be passing it on to my son, he has hands like a bear ;)

Very Pretty and useful cooking utensil

I ordered 2 so far and one is good and works well, the other is damaged. The problem is that returning it cost the same price that I paid for it.
