EZ QuiltingAcrylic Quilting Ruler and Template for Precise Measurements, 6.5" W x 24" L, Clear

I bought this ruler to replace my previous Wrights ruler of the same size that was dropped one too many times, and finally broke. That ruler was over 10 years old and was purchased at a garage sale, I don’t know it’s exact age. But I was so impressed with its durability, There was no question I would buy the same thing to replace it. Here’s to another 10 years of use!

Exactly what I needed to use with my rotary cutter and mat while making quilts. Sturdy, easy to read and use.

Very happy with this ruler. It's just heavy weighted. I can see number clearly. Plus, it didn't break the bank to purchase it.

It was finally time to purchase a new rotary cutting ruler as I stepped on my 20-year old ruler and cracked it. I took my time shopping in fabric stores for a new one, not quite finding a ruler that met my requirements, such as: large easy-to-read markings, markings that weren't so thick that you couldn't see past them to the material, and crystal-clear plastic.Came across this ruler online and decided to try this one. It's met my three requirements above. In addition, it has markings in 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", & 7/8" increments. I didn't think I'd have a need for this feature but have already used these on two separate projects.All plastic, ink-stamped rulers, will never be as precise as a metal ruler: when measuring this one from 1" out to 15", it is off by 1/32"). If you need absolute precision in cutting, then use a metal ruler to make tic marks and then use this ruler to connect the marks or to cut with your rotary cutter. I was not looking for precision in this ruler, I wanted to be able to cut fabric in consistent straight lines and 90-degree cuts and use it for "quick" cutting, and this does it flawlessly.I rated it's durability as a 5 star, keeping in mind it is a hard plastic ruler and it will break if stepped on - so don't do that! It's thicker than my original ruler and I have every confidence that this one will last 20 years as well.

This is my go-to quilting ruler. It would get 5 stars if it had non-slip dots.

I love this ruler; I resisted buying one for my sewing but it has made my life so much easier!
