Hidden In My Heart, Volume II, A Lullaby Journey Through Scripture

I purchased this as a gift for my granddaughters. I was very pleased with the style of music and content. Great to use as lullaby music to fall asleep to.

The media could not be loaded.  We love putting our daughter to bed with relaxing piano music. We don't like to contend with adds, so old school cds is where it's at! The songs are not only relaxing but based in biblical truths.

What can I say BUT absolutely AWESOME! It even out did my expectations.

I loved volume 1 and have enjoyed vol 2 just as much. It is beautiful music, very calming.

We own Volumes I, II, and III -- and love them each equally. Every time we play them, something new touches our hearts and speaks directly to what is happening at that time. The word of God is interpreted so sensitively in each song, that it gets planted deep inside us -- to re-surface later when we need it again. The beautiful music drives it home into our hearts and memories.Volume II was especially powerful to bring the Lord's comfort after the passing of our 15-year-old grandson, Ethan. (Born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Ethan's muscles lacked the gene which would cause them to build up as he grew older. Ethan had a thankful heart, though. He responded to God's love, gave his heart to Jesus, and received new life at age 13. His body continued to grow weaker, but his spirit grew stronger -- and Ethan shared his faith in Christ with everyone he met. He left us to receive his ultimate healing on March 11, 2014.) Through these beautiful songs on Vol. II, "I Am Here", "Underneath My Wings", and "Nothing Can Separate Me", I could see how securely we are held in the Father's hands as we put our trust in Him. My favorite song, "Wonderfully Made", brought me comfort I cannot describe as I thought of our grandson -- whom some may consider as an unfortunate accident. God makes no mistakes! Listen to these lyrics: "Don't forget I'm your Creator -- you are Mine, and I adore you -- Nothing else moves my heart like you. You're not here by chance -- You are My design. I did well to give you life! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Long before you drew your first breath, I knew your name. Surely goodness and mercy will follow you forever, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made." Powerful, precious words to us all!I highly recommend Hidden In My Heart, Volume II. You will not be disappointed! I have given these 3 CD's to many friends and family members -- everyone is as surprised as I was when they first hear them. Gorgeous, sweeping instrumental scores -- and the vocals could not be better! Another very special song you must hear is "Steadfast Love". This one lifts my heart every time I hear it -- it's the perfect pick-me-up!

This is my first review ever, but I really wanted to take the time to share my two cents. This was given to me at a time that I didn't even realize how much I needed the encouragement. It was EXACTLY what I needed. Especially in busier times when it can be hard to get time diving into scripture this was really helpful to have truth in music form. Since then, I have given one to new mothers especially because it seems like postpartum is a time when extra gentle encouragement and support is so helpful and needed. Every mother I gave one to said how much it was a help to them. I also have to say...the lyrics to the "Don't you worry about anything" song were life changing for me. I have a bent toward anxiety and just the calm and the truth of these lyrics played and sung over and over has truly impacted my life and helped me have greater victory with anxiety. I own all three CDs from this group. Some have preferred some over others. I think each one has it's own unique qualities and have loved every one. To the powers that be over the production of these, PLEASE MAKE MORE! I would love to have one on just the Psalms, just the Proverbs, the epistles, etc. Please consider! All in all, probably the CD that has had the most impact on me and pointing me toward truth and hanging on to what is good.

Listening to these songs and music is so calming, beautiful, very professional soft easy to listen to and it encourages faith in God. As we listen to the songs it brings about a heart of worship and praise to our beautiful God and Jesus our Savior...we have bought the 1st Cd. and now this 2nd one...we also have sent them to family and friends to draw close to God...i am amazed how the quality of sound in the gifting's that the singers and the musicians have sounds like a professional orchestra allllllll GLORY to God now and forever....But most important it has the Spirit of God flowing through the folks singing and playing...plus the bible verses that are sung are beautiful and anointed.....we love them....praise the Lord....

Soft music great for relaxing and listening while falling asleep, but words were difficult for me to follow.

These CD's are most excellent if you want to listen to something that is soothing and quieting. Lovely to listen to after a day of stressful activities. Quiets the soul and allows you to meditate on our Awesome God and listen to precious Bible verses set to quiet soothing music.

I love this cd. Ordered 3of them. Gave one to a newborn baby , and play the other ones all the time.

These are the most relaxing for any ages, bought it for a quiet time with the little ones I look after and found it so soothing I highly recommend for absolutely anyone!
