Magnum Strike Force 6.0 Mens Safety Boots

Despite having a name like a mid 90s special forces drama shown on repeat, these boots are really really good. I was a bit sceptical having worn a variety of I'll fitting reinforced toe cap boots for a decade or so. The idea of a "good fit" was always something of a unicorn in terms of ppe. So imagine my delight when these were actually comfy, and relatively light. Its true that there are lighter boots out there, but I have less faith in them than I would these. On top of that, theres a psychological boon to having a boot you think will stand up to hours of... standing up, not to mention that feeling you get when a heavy weight is placed on your foot and you don't feel anything more than the trepidation of a broken toe. Mine have already earned their place in a boot locker, polished and shiny for their next shift running around at work. They need breaking in a little, but time and a lot of walking do you wonders. Break in time: 3 weeks, though 8 weeks total to get really comfy. It should be noted you'll still get that "ouch my little toe" laugh as the toe cap doesn't cover them, but a slightly reinforced heel and that honeycomb section on the ankle joint have also played their part in protecting my feet. The leather is breathable, meaning no horrible wet smelly feet, yet waterproof, meaning no wet smelly feet. Honestly one of the best boots I've ever worn and the best reinforced boots. 10/10 will buy again.

These are amazingly comfortable boots and they really are worth the cost. I worked in security for about 8 years and these are the make of boots that everyone wore, but now I work in a factory and I'm on my feet all day and tried many safety boots before getting these and they were reduced to £102 so I snapped them up and they are the best shoes/boots I have every owned and even better with the side zip because I wear waterproofs to work and it makes it so much easier to get the great off. Update : After 2 months of use these boots are going strong and I have worn these for over 380 hours and my job is continuously walking and these boots are so good for the job. The tops of the toes are scuffed because I push my toes under pallets to reach the other side of the pallet without falling over and these have survived the abused and still look pretty good. I do recommend some gel insoles just to increase the comfort level a bit.

There not compsite toecapped , description is miss leading but the boot is great . Will have to buy another pair of boots i normally buy bates but there prices are to rich now gone up a extra 100 pounds to buy !!!

Have been using these for over a year on a regular basis. Long shifts and hard environment. Only issue I have is that I need to also undo laces to put the boots on, but that’s probably because I have a high instep. Really comfortable especially if used with good insoles

Very comfy, side zip allows you to take the boot off so much easier so you don't have to undo the ties. Top rear is one inch lower than front and this makes you walk easier and easier to take it off again. So much room inside very comfy and I can wear it all day long. I've just polished mine and they look great...

I have had good boots before. Real good and real comfortable boots to help my bad knee stay calm and allow me to freely work and move. I have also had magnum boots before. But this is the first time I buy Magnum boots with the Michellin sole. OUTSTANDING!!! More comfortable and better to walk on than my Nike Air Max, the Asics Gel, and can only be compared to the Mizuno Prophecy 7.0! All of which ciost twice as much as these boots! I took them running and I returned home 10 minutes earlier than I did with my expensive running shoes! Same route, same distance. Incredible boots, unbelievably comfortable sole, and if a long pair of trousers covers the top front and the top back it can be worn under most occasions of casual or semi formal clothes. Slip resistant, water resistant and special breathing insole against sweating and cold feet are remarkable extras that prove to function immediately. Thius is my second pair to change day after day. AWESOME PRODUCT!

I do not actually need a safety boot, but as these were not STEEL toe capped, I decided to try them. I also figured the toe area would be nice a deep. I found them to fit okay on my left foot but my little toe and I guess the metatarsal on my RIGHT foot were both pinching the side of the boot. It is possible that over time the leather would have stretched enough so the boot would fit better. I bought a size nine and there appeared to be sufficient room so that my big toes did not reach the tip of the boot. I think a size 9.5 would have been better though. There is Hi Tec label inside the boot and the boots smelt like new trainers. I think the grip of the outer sole seems very good but I do not know how long it would last on a concrete floor. The boot should really have a loop on the collar to make it easier to put them on. I cannot see any reason to have a side zip. I would not be able to keep the laces tied and remove the boot with the zip undone. If anything, it would just relive a bit of pressure on the foot if the laces were too tight.
