My niece bought this for us for Christmas. It replaced an electric cover I had, and it was so much better that I’ve since bought them for other family members. Everyone loves them. I’ve had mine for about 5 years and it’s still going strong. I use it year round as I don’t like to sleep cold.

My original one was underneath my mattress cover. Seem to get hot faster.This model doesn't seem to heat up in all sections, not a 100% coverage are. Some areas of the bed are cooler than others.I can always wear leg warmers, it's my back is what needs to be heated so I can sleep comfortably.If you have an 8000 BTU window unit, that connects to a 15 amp Outlet.. *top plug*Don't share the exact same plug with your heating blanket. *bttm plug*It can overheat the socket.It's a direct line to the breaker box.No other appliances on that line.It does great for the price.

Well totally impressed right off the bat for the following reasons - 1.)the placement of the plugs in the actual mattress pad are a great design feature over all the others we have purchased the last 15 years they direct the cord down and you can't feel or see the plugs. 2.)The LED controls sit nicely and securely on your nightstand are easy to use and read and they don't look bad either such a big improvement over the kind we used to have the kind you have to pick up and hold in your hand there was never enough weight to them and they would always slip off and end up behind the dresser... these just sit there- love that! 3.) This sucker heats up fast - the most important feature!!The wires in this are noticeable if you were to lay on just the heated mattress pad but we have it directly on the mattress then we have a thin mattress protector over it that protects our mattress from dust mites and liquids then we have a regular mattress pad over the top right under our sheet which is our normal set up and we don't feel the wires one bit. Would definitely recommend purchasing just from our 1st week of use especially in comparison to all the others we owned over the years but will update after a couple months worth of use.

This product delivers an even heat that helps with my achy muscles and bones during the cold Minnesota winter. This purchased an outdated mattress heater from the same company.Quality products that last, highly recommend!!

It’s big and covers my matteress easily. Plug and play. All I did was put it in, plug it in and relax. I feel like a queen. My elderly dog loves it too.

We live in Northwestern Washington state and heating primarily with wood, it can get ... rather cold at night. We have one of these on one of the beds in our house. In the years that we have had it, we have gone through 3 of the fancier Sunbeam, and several other types of mattress heaters, on another bed. It has gone through power surges (not on a surge protector) as the generator kicks on and off, and the controls have been knocked off the bedside tables and still work fine.It provides an overall sense of warmth that is comforting and encompassing, and it just keeps working. Believe me, this is the one you want to get.

My husband bought this for us for Christmas in the king size. We both love it! It warms up fast and stays consistant no matter what setting. It also cools down quickly. I set it to HIGH when I'm getting ready for bed and its warm by the time I'm ready to crawl under the covers. No more cold sheets! It comes with dual controllers so my husband can set his side to his comfort level and I can set my side to my own comfort level. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I can sometimes feel the coils. It's not bothersome tho. I have fibromyalgia and am very sensitive to even wrinkles in the sheet but the mattress pad coils haven't bothered me so far. I've wanted a mattress pad warmer for a long time and am sooo glad he bought one for me this year. One more thing, this is soooo much better than any electric blanket I have ever tried!! The heat envelopes you rather than being just on top of you. I have recommended this to everyone I know!
