This is a beautiful collection of all the Brambly Hedge books. Gorgeous images and quality.

We love these stories and had them as the smaller versions but this larger size is even more enjoyable. We love the illustrations.

This book is beautiful and will be a wonderful family keepsake. It is a compilation of 8 books written by a British author in the 1980s. I have not read the whole thing yet but what I have read so far is sweet and wonderful for my grandchildren. The illustrations are intricate and gorgeous. This version is hardbound with a slipcover. You can buy all the stories separately or in a set. Very nice.

I loved the book so much, I bought two of them (one of the kids, and one for me) AND the boxed set of 8 smaller hardcover books (the kids had difficulty handling this large book). My only complaint isn't about this book, but about a dented book I was sent the first time. Amazon replaced it with a slightly dented book which I just kept not because I thought it was really okay, but because I didn't want to have to go through all the trouble again just in case the third one happened to be damaged too.I read somewhere that the author spend a lot of time illustrating and researching for these books. The pictures are really so lovely and super detailed. The content is slice of life and all about how a caring community lives together. I was also looking for books that have content that preK kids can understand while having a higher reading level. The kids stop me a lot to ask me questions about new words so I know that means I'm exposing them to new stuff. The Beatrix Potter books also have high reading level for simple content.

We have read a lot of books this year and Brambley Hedge is the favorite by a long shot. Not only do my 5yo sons love the sweet stories, I enjoy reading them too. The illustrations are beautiful and so full of little details, every time we read, we find something new. The book is good quality and sturdy, it's keepsake quality and I plan to hang onto it to read with my future grandchildren once my boys outgrow it.

Beautiful piece of art and literature. My children love this.

Shipping took a really long time, but the book itself is great!

My 7yo and 10yo loved reading these stories! They are rich and full of detail. The illustrations are impossible to ignore! Wish I would have found this when my kiddos were younger. They would certainly be chosen to read again and again!
