The product itself is great, the pieces were simple to assemble, BUT BEWARE! If you don’t know how to properly find studs in your walls, this isn’t for you. The only way you’ll be able to keep this up is if you assemble it right, but luckily my dad is a contractor so he knew what he was doing. The instructions are more or less like LEGO instructions, mainly in the way that it’s mostly pictures and a few words here and there. As long as you have good common sense you’ll be able to put it together pretty easily, and like I said, if it’s put together properly it works fine. The only downside would be that the hammock piece is a little wobbly, but it’s still sturdy enough to hold my 15lb fluff ball and a 10lb cat that likes to roll and jump around on it so overall a really good product for the price. I’ll update in a few months to give a review on its durability :)

My husband was watching football and didn't want to do anything but that ... meanwhile, I *really* wanted to get this catnasium put up for Yoshi. So my hub offered me $200 cash if I actually pulled off hanging it myself! SHEEEEEEEEET, OKAY!!!!Now, I'm not an architect or a carpenter and really can't even hang a small picture properly.. but I also don't like backing down from a challenge.It's helpful that the pieces easily cover where you make drill holes, looking for a stud 😂The directions are NOT great, but I laid out all of the pieces in group piles - then used different colored hilighters to give each group of pieces it's own color - then highlighted each corresponding piece on the directions and that made it a whole lot easier for me.Tip: the directions made a mistake and flipped the bolts for the hammock and the cave. The shorter ones are for the cave and the longer are for the hammock.I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO BUY THIS FOR YOUR KITTY(IES) because the price point is reasonable and they will LOVE IT!! Mine was playing on it before I even got it up and now he hangs out on it for several hours each day. Just make sure that you get each piece into at least one stud - that's really important. 😊 trust me, if I can hang this then ANYONE can!

I should have read the reviews a bit more before purchasing. I don’t understand the hardware they give you, there is 2 long and 2 shorter mounts, and the short don’t hold anything up at all if you’re following the instructions (or lack there of). I had to go to Lowe’s and rig something together to make it fit. I chose not to hang the heavier enclosed bed due to the amount of issues I had with the lighter things. My cat likes the bed on the floor just the same though. I can’t blame it all those holes on the hardware though, my condo has cheap thin dry wall so those holes in the photos were not the fault of the hardware.

I love how sturdy this is and it holds anywhere from 2lb kittens to an 18lb Ragdoll cat. My only complaint is the instructions are not very clear and it took quite a while to assemble. Overall, loved it!

My cats LOVE this set!! One of them has chosen the hammock as her official bed; she sleeps the whole night in it (I'm only a little sad about the loss of cuddles). The other is an expert climber and really enjoys the scratchy material on the posts and the egg-shaped piece. Both of my cats weigh about 9.5-10.5 pounds and I have no concerns with their safety or the safety of my walls when they jump on and off.I saw a lot of reviews recommend using different screws rather than the ones that come with the set, so I purchased some construction screws and haven't had any problems. The instructions are a bit vague but no worse than Ikea furniture.My main complaint was mounting the brackets onto the hammock. I appreciate that they're not pre-attached so you can set them to fit your stud distance, but it was a little challenging drilling into the hammock support because it's covered in carpet/fabric. I didn't feel like I was able to measure accurately because the drill pulled at the fabric a little, but I got it mounted securely eventually. It definitely wasn't anything that would cause me to not recommend this item.For the price, you absolutely cannot beat this! The individual pieces are sturdy and the overall look is very attractive. I've already sent this link to a few friends.

These shelves are nicer quality than expected. But it was not that easy to install. The new construction in the building I live in made it so I could not find studs to be able to secure the large cat cave (I call it). Even with a stud finder, the ones I found were in the wrong place and were spaced apart enough to not be able to secure it properly.In the pic you can see instead I have it resting on top of an entertainment center. To make sure it doesn't slide or rock, I put two wedges on either side with nonskid material under it.The hammock shelf was somewhat difficult to install, but I finally got it. I recommend pulling the hooks slightly so they slide on the braces easier. Also I secured one brace to the hammock and pressed it against the other side without it being fastened. This left an impression on the back in the material so I knew exactly where to fasten it to the back.On the other hand, the two posts were easy to install and are the sturdiest of the group.Overall I am pleased with the way they came out. And the important thing, as you can see by the pic, one of my cats has her head poking out of the cat cave. No sooner had I finished hanging the posts and the hammock shelf did she make her way up there. So it is cat approved!

Hello, I'm not used to writing reviews, but I wanted to say this: when I bought the feline wall pack, I didn’t expect it to be sturdy or last long. But here we are, two years later, and this kit is still holding up my big cat several times a day. So, I recommend it. It's great

Our cat’s given name is Meep but nobody calls her that, really her name is Beep or Meeples.Anyway, we bought this thing for her because Flippy (A.K.A. Bip, Whip or Wipples) is always on the cat tree and that’s not fair so we needed a thing that was just for little Beep and this thing was just the ticket.We read lots of people saying things like it’s hard to install or wobbly screw or that kind of thing but that wasn’t our experience at all so either we (Robyn) are masters at cat-shelving or these other people need to enroll in a cat-shelving course. Try some of your own medicine for a change, shelf-bashers!

Our bengal loves to sleep and play on this set. She likes both the hammock and the cave. We purchased this after reading the reviews and we were concerned she might break the hammock so we decided to buy fiberglass tape (we used FiberFix) and reinforced the hammock polls before we installed the hammock on the wall. So far it's been a year and there have been no issues with the polls bending or breaking. Unfortunately it looks like the fabric is starting to rip. We will probably need to reinforce and stitch the fabric back together in a few more months. Otherwise we are very happy with the product!
