I would say they are not slim cut.

Best guess is classic fit because I am not slim

Q: Is what they call "pale khaki brown" a regular khaki color? i have a pair like that but the color chart is confusing.

I have 2 pairs of these. I would call them khaki. A light tan color. Little darker than a stone but can be worn with any color shirt. My favorite shorts.
