Bad @ss square.
I love this square, and everything about it mine checks right on the money with a calibrated starrett machinist square. You can't even see light between the two squares at any point. The surface finish was great as well as the accuracy. The flat leg on the bottom really helps with inspection in layout. I wish they made these in larger sizes I would own an entire toolbox drawer full!

Very solid. The bottom flange makes it much easier to use than the block ends on most machinist squares. And, yes, I can not measure it accurately enough to detect and error in it. But, that is why I bought it, to improve the accuracy of my measurements.

Fine for wood, probably useless to set up a CNC router.
This square wasn't usable out of the box. It had burrs on the corners. The claim of squareness of .0008" may not be true. It looks more like .0012". I would expect that an actual squareness to be well within the specification. It is good looking but fails on the fine points.

Just what I needed
Happy. I needed a accurate square with a base and a thick blade. This one does it all. I will report back sometime in the future on it's accuracy.
