Aera Sandalwood Home Fragrance Scent Refill - Notes of Sandalwood, Balsam and Oud - Works with The Aera Diffuser

I got this scent because reviews suggested that you couldn't smell it and then some other reviews mentioned that it was strong. Well, it's STRONG. I have to lower it to the minimum strength because it's STRONG!! It smells like a perfume kind of way. I'm very sensitive with smells and on the 4th day it gave me like a headache because of the smell. I'm still entering a 5 STAR because the sensitiveness is JUST ME. I also have a small home with an open concept and therefore I put it next to the entry door. At first, I thought the smell was going to be less because the doors gets open often but since it opens inside rather than out, the smell goes in as my family enters the home. Again, it's STRONG and POWERFUL smell. A NICE SMELL, nonetheless. As soon as I open the package, I could smell the intense scent. I RECOMMEND it but if you are the kind of person that doesn't wear any kind of cologne or perfume because you get a headache, Don't get it. Get something less intense. I'm keeping it but I'm trying something new: to turn it off during night time and turn it back on during the day. I will order another scent soon but POETRY is a STRONG SCENT STRENGTH!!

Love the smell, however price could have been lower

The fragrance its a little strong for my taste but for the purpose of having a nice smell in my home to does wonders. It’s been a while since I purchased it and to be honest seeing that even though I turn it on every day for 3-4 hrs the consumption of the fragrance is amazing. At this point It still has 85% of it left and that itself makes it great. I will try another fragrance next but seeing this doesn’t seem to empty anytime soon I thing I’ll buy it in a couple of days.

Great product but the packaging is very poor!This is exactly how it was when I took it out of the bag!

I love the smell of this cartridge. The fact that it’s not over powering is a hit in my house. Lasts a long time which is good. Only problem is they are way too expensive for a months time using it at between a quarter and half.

The media could not be loaded.  Update 11/27/19: Changing/lowering my rating to 1 star.Something has changed in the past year with these units - they are louder with a very noticeable fan buzzing sound. The fragrance Capsules are different too - same great scent quality, but the little clear window is gone and they don’t last as long at the same settings.Extremely disappointed in the degradation of the quality of the product being sold. Had I known they were going to make changes, I would not have invested $800 in these units I purchased 2 more units in March because I had liked my original units so much. but the new ones were loud and buzzy right out of the box.The customer service is still great - They exchanged all of my units for no charge - but the product isn’t what it used to be and sadly the replacements are just as loud as the ones I returned. The scents are still lovely while they last, but the increased noise and the shorter capsule duration mean these will be tossed in the trash or sold at my next yard sale.Precious post-I’ve had my Aera smart diffuser for several months and have tried Citrus, Indigo, White Tea, and Lavender scents. All have freshened my home beautifully without being overpowering. The Lavender scent is by far my favorite and the most noticeable throughout my home. I own a 3400 square foot 2 story home with an open layout and split floor plan. I have 2 of the diffusers and have them placed in the master suite as well as the greatroom/kitchen/foyer. The lavender scent is a pure, clean, lavender smell - in my opinion a genuine replication of what is achieved with dried lavender blooms. What I love most about the Aera diffuser is that the scent isn’t what you notice - what you notice is the home smelling wonderful and fresh with little bursts of scent as you move throughout the space. This device doesn’t work like a candle or a plug-in - you aren’t going to be overwhelmed by the fragrance - instead what you will notice is a freshness and a mood - relaxing, energizing, etc. - just depends on the blend chosen. Lavender gives me the same experience in my home as being outdoors in my cottage garden. Love it - definitely need to try several different scents to find your home signature - but the exchange policy is wonderful if you get something that doesn’t work for you. Excellent customer service as well. So glad I found this product.

I have been using Aera for over two years. I have 6 diffusers, 4 of the minis and two of the full size. I do love this product as it is easy to control and set schedules right from my iphone also it is by far absolutely the best home fragrance I have ever found and I have tried them all. I have three large dogs in a three story 4 bedroom home and people don't even know that I have any animals in my home until they see them because my home smells so lovely. I always get complimented on how amazing my home smells. I never minded the $49.50 price tag per capsule (with auto ship discount) because even on a 7-10 setting for 12 hours per day they would last me 45 days so I would spend $440 every 3 months and they would come like clock work right on time. But over the last 9 months the customer service as well as the product itself have been lacking. lately the capsules at my regular schedules last only one week and orders take over 30 days to arrive. So I either have to lower the settings to 1 and reduce to 6 hours per day or order 36 capsules at a time which at $1800 becomes no longer reasonable. I First thought that I was just becoming immune to the fragrance until I began to read other subscribers reviews, I am not the only one who has found myself having to change my capsules much more frequently then I should. I'll add that I have never reviewed a product but I feel that this is such a drastic change in quality and service it warranted a review

The scent of this is amazing! It's not too strong. It's perfect, that's what it is!

Way to expensive, these do not last 2 weeks let alone as described, but it smells great.

The product was originally perfect. Then, the price of the recharge doubled. I had to put my Aera aside as it became too expensive to buy refills. I might switch to another brand.
