It's a starter, Harry....
old starter quite literally imploded, within 10 minutes of starting to change it it was fired up and cranking like new...Just wish the first one I ordered had been properly eliverd, instead the amazon driver left it out in the open at the Post Office, adn it was stolen... lost a week on a customers mower because of it..
