A total ripoff
Wow, $8.00 for eight tiny (4 inches in diameter) papadums!!! Someone is making a killing here. In an Indian grocery these would be no more than a dollar. Food products on Amazon are totally not worth it.

They are fresh and good.
Yes, like a lot of things on amazon they are a bit pricey. But, great snack if you are on a low-carb diet and don't eat crackers or bread. I used to buy some from an Indian store but I found that they often had mold & had to be thrown out. These are clean and fresh and fine for an occasional treat. I like them with olive oil and parmesan cheese. Kind of Italian-Indian fusion food. 65 seconds in my microwave and they come out perfect. They don't fall apart like the ones from the Indian grocery.

Yum! But I know a better cost is out there!
They are delicious! I bought them from a restaurant, where I originally ate them, in Breckenridge CO for. $3. I know that this is an awful price; yet haven’t found a better source yet.On the FABULOUS SIDE, they are delicious, SOEASY in the microwave, an easy & healthy snack,etc... LOVE, LOVE LOVE THEM!!!

Arrived Moldy, Well Before Expiration Date
I ordered the variety pack, and received them in mid-November 2020. The Black Bean and Mung Bean varieties were moldy, even though they expired in Dec 2021 and June 2022 respectively. The Chili Chickpea variety was fine, and tasted great. I assume the others would have been tasty as well, if they hadn't been moldy.I'll probably order the Chickpea ones again, with the expectation that I may have to throw them out as soon as they arrive. Not expensive enough to ship them back for a refund.Very disappointed.

Crispy and Perfect Spice Level
$30 for six rigid boxes with locking tabs, as pictured, arrived in one larger, thin cardboard box. Arrival May 2020, expiration December 2021. I've only opened one of six boxes. It contained 13 papadums rather than the advertised 10! So far, 70 seconds in the microwave on power level 10 works best. Use a bowl with a circumference slightly smaller than the disc, otherwise the center burns before cooking the outside. Pairs well with Rani Brand Date Tamarind Sauce, which I also bought on Amazon. Yummy!

Buy elsewhere: bitter and awful tasting
I’ve bought Papadums and eaten them hundreds of times over an 18-year marriage into a Indian family, throughout 2 long visits to India itself and in the 10 years since. I wrote a cookbook with my Punjabi mother-in-law for her grandchildren. I know my way around Indian food from different regions. These taste horrible! Don’t waste your money, you’re paying for slick packaging. They’re small, bitter and I had to spit it out. I’ve eaten my way from Mumbai to Goa to Mysore, Bangalore, Calcutta, Madras, Orissa and throughout New Delhi and Punjab. I may have a ferangi name but I know my Indian food. Please save your hard earned money and buy elsewhere.

Very good quality!
LOVED this little light snack. Just 45 seconds in the microwave and it comes out perfectly crispy and a little brown. The instructions say 60-90 seconds but I find 60 seconds is too long and burns it. Varies with different microwaves, I guess. For the price, it’s a little expensive, but I am craving papadums and too lazy to go to little India to buy groceries. This is like a fresh, delicious snack, delivered right to my couch! :)

Tasty but too pricey
These are tasty, not spicy, and do well with scooping up curry. It was fun to cook them over a gas range and have them puff up and get crispy. However, the box says 10 are inside. Product description here also says 10. I received only 7.I enjoyed them, but probably won't purchase them again because $1 per papadum is a bit pricey.

Terribili
Vago sapore indiano. Gusto salato. Sconsigliate.
