Adorable sugar bowl that is fantastic quality. I was very surprised given the low price. Will definitely add more pieces from this collection to our kitchen wares.

Just what I was looking for! Not too big, not too small, has a slot for a spoon, blends with my decor, reasonably priced. so many sugar bowls don't have a place for the spoon to stick out, but that was my first criteria. This one checked all the other boxes as well.

I love this covered salt pot and had a little wooden spoon that fit in it perfectly. The covered butter dish I also ordered with it look great together on the counter and are very functional.

I absolutely loved this sugar bowl in my kitchen. Perfect size and quality.I broke the first one. So happy I was able to order another one.You do need to buy a sugar spoon for it. It does have a slot for the spoon but one is not provided with purchaseHighly recommend.Great quality.

I love this sugar bowl. Looks cute and the notch is the lid is perfect to hold a sugar spoon. However, the matching Portmeirion Sophie Conran creamer drips. I even ordered the Portmeirion Sophie Conran small 8 oz pitcher to use as a creamer, but the small pitcher is unexpectedly large (doesn't drip though). It holds at least 12 ounces of liquid (not 8 ounces as advertised), and it's 5 inches tall and 6 inches across. I can't find anything that I can use as a creamer to go with this sugar bowl so I may return it.

This is a cute little container that is perfect for my rustic looking sugar cubes. The slot is just the right size for my rose embossed sugar tongs, too. It is getting plenty of use for tea and coffee. When my father-in-law came over with his coffee purchased from a famous Seattle based coffee chain and needed to add his sugar and cream, I had all he needed right on the table. It all looked very cute, just like in a diner! Then he asked for a swizzle stick and because of Amazon, I also had those cute little spoons to stir with, too. Can it get any better?

Very delicate and feel of porcelain. Very pretty and tasteful. I am only disappointed with the lids handle it is not perfectly round but has two flattened sides opposite from one another on the handle of the lid. Still it feels formal. A nice edition to my morning coffee routine. I also bought the matching creamer.

I love this sugar bowl. Nice crisp white without being stark, classic design, and a spot in the lid for the spoon. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that now we have to search for the perfect spoon to fit in it. I'm surprised portmeirion did not include one. One other thing to note, is that it did not look as rustic as it does one the website. For me, that was a good thing. It's really perfect, and is packaged in a nice box that makes it great for gift giving. I gave it with the matching creamer (Sophie Conran by Portmeirion 10-Ounce Creamer, White) to my sister for Christmas and she couldn't be happier.
