Long Lasting
I have had a couple of these balls for years, and my dogs love them. They genuinely last and haven't been torn to pieces yet. I highly recommend this product.

Won't go through "hurricane" or chain-link fencing - dogs LOVE it.
We've been using this size (large) for about 2 years now. Between our Doberman pinscher and the boxer-pitbull mix, they are tough on toys. These dogs have access to the Chuckit Ultra balls only under supervision and they run like crazy in the backyard while either fetching or holding onto the balls. It keeps our doberman out of trouble because she's running with a ball in her mouth and therefor cannot nip at the other dog when she gets overly excited. Tennis balls are lucky to last one play session with these guys, just for comparison purposes. When throwing the regular size, the ball occasionally went right through our backyard (chain link aka "hurricane") fence -- even though they shouldn't quite fit. The size large balls bounce off the fence; our only problem now is when one of the dogs does a soccer style head-butt and knocks the ball over the fence that way. After 2 years, one ball has a split down the side and two are discolored because they were left outside when we couldn't locate them after a play session. Overall I like these very much and appreciate how well they've held up.

Very robust
I have a Catahoula Leopard Dog that chews through chain link fence and every toy I have bought him. These balls he is unable to chew up as they are solid enough that he is unable to Pierce through it and yet they hollow so he can’t just chew off pieces of it as well.We have had these balls for several months and he always has one in him mouth and they seem to have no real wear on them.I would definitely recommend these for anyone who has an animal who likes to chew as these will last a very long time.By the way he chews up tennis balls made for dogs in about 20 minutes and he hasn’t put a dent in these yet.

Too big
They are too big for my chuckit stick. They don’t squeak as I thought they did.

Beat ball ever!
Our German shepherd works these balls over. Very durable. I have to say chew proof! Chewed up tennis balls on an hour, these last until they get list (not damaged)Love love love these balls.

Good for fetch, not as a chew toy
Let me start off by saying that if you are buying these as a chew toy... don't. We have two goldens and they are both chewers. I left two of these with them thinking they would be fine and one was completely destroyed and the other was scared. If you have chewers, buy a Kong Ball.Otherwise...What I Liked:I love the soft rubber. Recommend washing these off after every session as they will keep better and not be gross. They have some bounce to them which the dogs love. If you get the chuck stick with them these suckers can fly. If you only use them when playing fetch and wash them after use, these things can probably last several years. Going on six months with chewers, worth every penny then. What I don't Like:I am not 100% positive, but I think they manufacture them to be non standard sizes so that you cant use the chuck stick with normal tennis balls. That is kind of my only grievance.

Basil Recommends Orange Balls
Basil prefers these orange balls for chewability, ability to float on the pond, and bright color to find after all the snow melted. Basil can chew on these balls for hours without being able to remove the plugs. Basil recommends owning at least a half-dozen of these balls, particularly if you live in a snowy climate where you may lose your ball until spring. Basil’s life would be incomplete without these orange balls.

Awesome Balls
I've been buying these for my Doberman since he was a pup. We finally wore out one of them, so I decided to buy a few more as running out or not having two would throw our daily fetch time of course and he'd be very upset with that. We used a chuck it stick with them for a little while, but now I just throw them as he loves to twist and turn and run to catch them in midair.

Great some dogs, a bit rubbish for others I guess
Photo attached. From left to right is Day 1, Week 1, and Week 2.Then it’s off to the bin, to join all the other balls that are great for ‘power chewers’. And no I don’t know where the missing chunk is from the Week 3 ball is either, but I can take a guess…It’s a funny thing this ‘power chewer’ description. I think every other owner says their dog is a power chewer cos they once destroyed a dog ball or toy. I’m sure I used to call my Black Lab a power chewer, that is until along came rescue mongrel with Pitt bull/Staffie/GSD in him (and yes I did do the gene test). He’s responsible for the damage in the photos; I think these balls would have last the Black Lab as long as it took until she lost it, i.e many months if not years. Instead, barely 2 weeks at about 8 quid a ball….As other owners might agree, it’s not just about the bite strength. Labs and other dogs are sort of hot-wired to fetch. They love it and can’t wait to run for the ball and fetch it back. Sure they might have a chew now and again, and en route, but their main goal is to return the ball to me for another throw. Not so with this rescue and no doubt many other breeds. His goal is also to chase after the ball, but immediately after it’s then to lie down, get comfy, and chew it. Very hard and determinedly, hot-wired to bite it, destroy it, and will not give it up willingly. In defence of the manufacture these balls last way longer than almost anything else out there. 2 weeks is actually really good, in as much as a tennis ball is lucky to last 5 mins. They are bouncy and not too heavy and easy to clean. Easy to identify as ‘yours’ in the morning melee of dogs in our local park. I got size L for my two and that’s the correct size as far as I’m concerned. The search for the indestructible ball for ‘power chewers’ continues…

Only lasted about 2 hours before splitting
My previous chuckit balls have lastwed weeks before splitting however these split after a couple of walks - not to the point of being usuable but very disappointing.I still would always recommend these over tennis balls however.

Favourite Balls!
We have a 19 month old Rhodesian ridgeback and he LOVES these balls! The squeaky ones are his absolute favourite but the squeak doesn’t last, maybe a few weeks. But he chews on them like chewing gum and gets really excited when he sees them. My sister has a Staffy and he is the same. Great for strong jaws!

Great sized durable ball
Our chocolate labrador is ball mad and everyday we walk with the ball, one 9f her friends is a chewer and balls tend to split easily...so far this ball is going strong
