Kary's Roux16 ounce Glass Jar 6 Pack

Hot dang this is a good value and tasty product, but they shipped it in a sloppy way and I ended up with a huge mess. I am Midwestern and not Cajun so maybe I am doing it wrong. I thought that I was going to receive six jars instead I was given 3 clean jars, 2 covered in roux, one mess of shattered glass and roux, and one bloody thumb. Listen, I get that I can’t tell the difference between a crawdad and a shrimp, but I do not deserve to be sliced in half and covered in roux. I think not.

Perfection in a jar! Don’t be fooled by the congealed clump in oil. Once you finally get it out of the jar and heat it, it is absolutely delicious! My gumbo has never tasted so good!

It has pork in it. Which I think should be clear in advertising. But email this vendor over a month ago . Still haven't heard back from them. Will not purchase from them anymore. There loss.

Moved from Louisiana to Montana and I get my taste of home from this product.

This cuts the work and time out of making gumbo. This roux is a game changer. No more standing over the stove stirring for 45 minutes. Flavor, color and texture are as good as you make at home. You get 6 jars and I have given some to family and friends

Product is old and separated, empty the entire jar and remix it.

I loved not having to stand at the stove forever to stir the roux. It was also amazing that when I turned my back on the stove and scorched the roux, I only had to wash the skillet and open a new jar! Cannot tell you how many times I had to start all over. Not anymore, thanks to Kary’s Roux.

I'm sure the product is good but its unusable if they can't package it better.
