Works about as Expected
Best for small projects where tight space prevents larger sander use. Also should use for shorter periods with only light pressure

Sanding Pad
When I burned up the original pad that came with my Rockwell. I decided to try a three others. The cheapest was a pair of Rockwell pads from Home Depot, (not the original item number), an Imperial pad ( most expensive) and the Genesis. The Genesis does not have the holes in the pad for sawdust to escape or be sucked away, but it does have the strongest attachment of the three for the sand paper. The sandpaper does stick to it very well. I don't find the lack of holes in the pad and sandpaper a problem when using such a small pad.Also... I have taken the advice of another reviewer, and only run my machine at the 2 speed setting for sanding. It really does prevent the pads from getting ruined. It seems that the hooks melt and will no longer secure the sandpaper if it is used at a higher speed. I think this is a good product.

Fits well
This fit my old Craftsman Nextec. Strong hooks hold sandpaper tight.

NOT UNIVERSAL!!!
I PUT THIS ON MY BLACK & DECKER, IT FLEW OFF AND ABOUT 25 FT AWAY!!! SO GLAD IT DID NOT HIT ANYONE!! I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE COME OFF BEFORE!! STILL CANT FIGURE OUT HOW OR WHY IT HAPPENED, BUT IVE BEEN USING THIS TOOL FOR LIKE 5 YRS, AND SOMEHOW MY PIECE GOT LOST AND I HAVE TO REPLACE IT. BUT THIS IS NOT UNIVERSAL ATLEAST NOT TO MY BRAND!!! THIS IS BUYER BEWARE!!! SOMEBODY IS GOING TO GET HURT BY THIS BRAND OF JUNK!!

Fails after small sanding job (small section of window frame
Cheaply made lock mess that disintegrates shortly after use. (See pics) May need to buy a different sander as Genesis does not manufacture a quality lock tool for sanding. You would have to replace this tool every time you had a new job plus use 2x sandpaper.

Fits the Home Depot Rigid Multifunction Tool
I couldn't find this in any store. Perfect fit for my Rigid multifunction tool. Great holding power for sanding pads.

Works great
Works great on my Rockwall oscillating sander. Much cheaper than Rockwall unit. I use roll hook and loop sandpaper and cut it to match blank that I made.
