Roman Flügel – Fatty Folders
Roman Flügel steps away momentarily from his Alter Ego to explore some FATTY FOLDERS, and with "How To Spread Lies" sets out on a mellow tech-house journey, while "Lush Life Libido" hints at some funk, and "Bahia Blues Bootcamp" gets extra blippy. The deeper tones on "The Improviser" have a menace to them, while the brief interlude of 'Krautus" sounds almost like a Tomita track. "Song With Blue" layers in the reverb and the melancholy, while "Softice" is more stark in its shiny tech treatment. "Don't Break My Heart" has a softer thrum, like a phone call for your spirit, and "PianoPiano" ends on a romantic piece of beatlessness. Quite the pleasant trip!

Beautiful
Finally after digging through the Amazon top 10 and the Resident Advisor top 20 I find this beautiful bit of music. How to describe? Fresh, no words, looping, musically interesting, not dark, no off key vocals, not scandinavian 6 months of night depression electronica... way more worth your time than the latest from The Field, which to me sounds like the first album but with a rock-style drum set. Not bad, just variations on previous themes, where as this sounds new.
