I bought this item for my husband before he passed away from pancreatic cancer because the cancer was literally eating him from the inside out and he went from weighing 180 pounds down to 86 pounds. He was literally just skin and bones, but always loved loved loved to take very hot baths to soothe his bones, but he couldn't do that anymore because the bath would hurt him because he had no body fat. That's why I bought this, and it helped him so much, mainly his tail bone, and although he was only able to use it once before he passed, I'll never forget him telling me that was one of the most comfortable baths he had ever taken, and I knew he meant it because he stayed in the bathtub for almost 2 hours, I just kept Letting some of the water out and refilling it with hotter water over and over for him and he loved it. I myself have not used it yet, but I plan to very soon and will leave another, more personal review of what it did, or didn't do for me. But as for him, he said he absolutely loved it and this is coming from a man that was literally skin and bones.

The Spa Pillow provided me the comfort and support I needed in order for me to ever enjoy taking a bath. The pillow gave comfortable support to my legs, hips, lower and middle sections of my back. Before I got the pillow, I couldn't enjoy taking a bath due to the pain and discomfort I would have after sitting so low in the bath with nothing to support my lower body joints, back nor hips in addition to, me also trying to sit and maneuver in the tub for longer than 10 minutes. However, since I've been using the pillow, it helps to decrease a lot of pressure causing pain and discomfort due to Sciatica, whenever I take a bath, I have been able to enjoy longer baths with no pain. The pillow provided so much support that, I didn't even experience the painful struggles I normally would've by, going from a sitting to a standing position from such a low area (the tub) when I was ready to exit the tub. And depending on the structure of your tub, the pillow can also help with some shoulder and neck discomfort which, are also known to be brought on by Sciatica as well. I have recommended the Spa Pillow to many people I know who are suffering with Sciatica, joint or some sort of arthritic body/limb pain; and the pillow is within an affordable price range. Sciatica is a condition that is rapidly growing in the knowledge of the medical world/professionals, to being worst than arthritis itself and it is very painful and can limit much of your mobility depending on how long you've had Sciatica. Sciatica affects more than just the back and legs; Sciatica can progress to affecting the neck, shoulders, knees, ankles and sometimes the nerve feelings in the arms (numbness); so, I thank God someone invented something like the Spa Pillow, to help allow me to do little more things that my Sciatica has prevented me from doing for years like, taking nice long painless baths.

I’ve always loved my soaks but been unable to get my tailbone and fairly recently neuropathy-filled body to get into a bath. The last time I was able to sit in a bathtub was July 2020, no joke. I’ve researched reviews until the cows came home, desperate to get back in my bath. I chose this one. THIS bath pillow is worth every penny of the $60. This afternoon was the FIRST time I’ve been able to sit / lay down in my oversized porcelain tub in absolute comfort. I did not get out for 2 hours. This full body bath pillow is IT. It’s a win-win for plush, pillow comfort, suction cups are sturdy and you don’t even know they are there. As an afterthought, I will put up a Command strip to hang it to dry. A++++ 10 stars

I ordered this item because I needed padding for my buttom.

I am very underweight and have chronic pain so I soak in the tub often but the hard tub was very uncomfortable. This bath pillow/mat is a lifesaver! I can fully relax and get the most pain relief possible with my soaks. It is very comfortable to sit on and back/neck support is great and suction is strong. If I were to be nit picky I would say the thickest piece should extend further since your bottom is in a different spot depending on how far up on the tub you suction the head/neck part or how far you submerge and there aren’t suction cups on either side of that piece of it so it’s loose. It dries quickly when suctioned to the side of the shower to drain after use. I have not washed it yet but it came with a bag for doing so. No yellowing so far and the cups seem to be sewn in well. To prevent tearing them out start at the foot of the mat and gently unstick them by using your fingers to lift under the cup. Once you disconnect those two cups roll the mat backwards and do the same to the next two cups rolling as you go so they don’t re-suction the second you move on to the next cups. This part is important to keep them from ripping out. Lastly if you take bubble baths be sure to rinse the mat with clean water before hanging to remove the suds and prevent scum buildup. I highly recommend this mat!!!

I have an oversized tub and need a mat to soak comfortably. This is better than the mat I had for 4 years, with extra cushion for your bottom and a small pillow for the head. I especially like the hook that lets you hang the mat from the shower bar to drain. Good product.

I like the mat, but, the bath mat I received wasn't as shown. I'm 5 ft. tall and wanted something to help me stop sliding.In one of the pictures it looks like there's a sitting area instead of one piece. The one I received has no separate area. Also the headrest is pretty flat so if you need kneck support like I do I don't recommend it.I've only used it once and ended up rolling up the top of the mat to support my kneck until I can get something else for that.The mat didn't reach the end of the tub already so doing this made it even shorter.I do like the texture of the mat; it's pretty soft, and it did stop me from sliding too much. Suction was really strong.
