Each year, we choose an ornament to represent something significant in our lives. The Thomas fire, California's largest wildfire left us evacuated from our new property right before Christmas. When we returned, post-evacuation, we found that the firefighters had cut lines to protect our land, had extinguished the flames that burned the edges of our brush and had cut back the chapala to keep it from spreading. There were hundreds of boot prints in the dirt. I love this ornament because it symbolizes the anonymous firefighters who protected our home, and will remind us each year about the true gifts of Christmas

I ordered this for my son who is a firefighter, he likes it and I went there for Christmas and got to see it on his tree, It is a cute ornament and there is other ornaments that are also for firefighters. Next I am going to get a pull chain fire hydrant for him.

Item arrived quickly. There are two boots on this ornament. In the photo it looks like it is only one. Happy with purchase.

One of our neighborhood boys just graduated from the fire academy. We wanted him to have something that will last as long as his career. Very proud moment for him, he loved the gift.
