Very easy to install with simple tools. Make sure to replace the rubber piece and spring inside your faucet at the same time you install the cartridge (Delta Faucet RP4993, Black,Small). It will last for many years and not leak.

Is the OEM brand replacement! Looks like the real thing. Feels like the real thing. Needed three more of these for our bathroom sinks and found these at Amazon. Did the job. Easy to install. They work just as designed

Installed aftermarket stem assembly only to find my water flow was reduced by more than half of what I was getting with the original. These Delta parts got me back to where I was at when the faucet was new. Get OEM parts! Lesson learned.

Worked on my delta two handle bathroom faucet. Stopped the leak and was easy to install. Read all the reviews and they are correct, saved money without using a plumber who quoted me $175.00 to rebuild, to do what I did myself with only this stem. My handle was leaking when I turned it on. I simply swapped out the stem and stopped the leak. Warning, There is only one stem in the package. I thought there would be two for the price, like other ones that are all plastic sold on Amazon that also include replacement washer and spring. I guess you pay more for the metal stem and delta official replacement part. No washer or spring included. The washer and spring goes underneath the stem FYI.

If you're having a small drip out of the faucet itself then your problem is likely only a seating gasket.If you're having a hard time turning your handles, this will likely fix it.If there is a leak originating at the handle then this will likely solve your problem but most leaks manifest as a small drippy faucet. They're significantly cheaper and are likely to solve the drip.

Hot water faucet was leaking and when I saw the disgusting condition of the cold water stem assembly I knew I had to replace both. Perfect replacement, no drips and bathroom faucet works like new.
