It is plastic, but still so cute
It's really cute. I bought three of these and put it against a mountain mural in my daughter's room. It's really really adorable. Like another reviewer said, the switch at the back is inconvenient. Should've been at the side, so that you could hang it and not have to take it off. Very lightwegiht even with battery. And gives off plenty of light for a night light.

I think you can tell this light is meant to be decorative and you can't expect it to light up a room. We use it as nightlight and it works fine. For such a low price, it is an aesthetic decoration.

beautiful night lamp with soft yellow light.
Its very beautiful Lamp especially for young kids as well teens . It adds a little magical charm to room. Nice soft lights n glow makes it more useful. Only issue is on/off switch is at back side so if we want to hang it on wall will need to be dismounted every time to on n off it.
