As a new Christian, this book has opened my eyes to how PRIDE permeates our world! Pride is the most dangerous of them all, but I assure you that you will find other deadly sins creeping up into your heart and life. Read this book and you will become a better person!

Don't let the title scare you off. This is an excellent work book that could be used for personal faith growth or in a larger group. Each section has well thought out devotions and insight on those areas of life that keep us (at least me) from living out a life of faith.

Love it. I am in a class where some of what is read is explained. If you read it on your own, it can be confusing.

I got this book for bible study, and this study book is suppose to be completed in 3months. We have been using this book for over a year, because of the details and it makes you go deep into the word f God

If it is Maxie Dunnam, I like it and his daughter did just as well. I found it very helpful and a new and practical take on what many protestants don't pay much attention to but probably should.

Addresses all the issues we deal with today, it's powerful and real.
