This is not simple to use at all. There are no brief instructions...just a pdf with English that is broken and hard to understand. You have to install the software...in order to use it (NO online installation options) with a CD!! How many lap tops have CD/DVD players anymore??There are lots of weird settings ....it is definitely not a set up and use immediately. I have had similar tech tools...this will take way too long to complete any tasks with! Ugh! Terrible.

I didn’t get to use it due to there not being a cd drive on this laptop. That was the way to downtown the software. Went online to do it but then couldn’t download because it’s a school/work laptop and I have to get approval. 🤪

It's simple to use. The light feature is great in dark rooms and makes the document completely visible. The zoom is also really good. I use it all the time.

Wouldn't come on after only 3 weeks of use. I contacted Amazon customer service who rolled her therr return window was closed. Contacted the manufacturer which didn't help. So just after 3 weeks, I'm stuck with crap! I'm a teacher and needed this for my lessons in person and distant learning. I ended up purchasing another scanner because I needed one ASAP due to the fact that I use a scanner/protector daily.
