obnoxious to clean
I wish I would have bought one that's a different style or that can be taken apart. This thing is like trying to give a cat a bath when cleaning. Works alright but yeah.

A 5 Star Ricer
This is a very sturdy item. The metal is not flimsy and the construction appears to be the quality that mother's depended upon back in the 50's and 60's before plastic became popular. The flat plate for pushing the potato through the strainer and connected to the handle is spot welded in 6 places. Pivot points on the handle appear to be quite strong with no play. I may not have the most accurate, or maybe I do, but I measured the thickness of the metal to be 1.7mm and that is heavy enough for a ricer. If you plan on using it to squeeze the water out your socks, then maybe not so much. Personally I like the construction. I think this will work well for potato's and fruit squeezing.

Use this everyday; especially love the holes
I put spinach in boiled water every morning to make a salad. It's always a big trouble to squeeze water out of spinach. Now with this gadget, problem is solved. They are very well made; hopefully can last for a long time. I especially love the holes, as they allow me to get out of the water faster. Highly recommended.

The name is never the thing it describes.In other words this tool has multiple uses !This tool is sturdy and built very well.I use it to drain the grease from bacon.Also I found it works well in when IRehydrate tomato slices and drain theexcess tomato juice for my pizza.I'm sure I will discover more uses for thismachine.I would never be without it now in my kitchen !!!

Love it!!
The quality is great. It makes potato mashing so much easier & quicker. It squeezes lemon beautifully. Just a great product overall. I'll definitely be making mashed potatoes more that I usually do! 😉

Good quality stainless
Little bigger would of been much better. I used it for mashed potatoes but it would work well for mashed food for baby.

Seems small but works well
A little smaller than my old one but works well, thought handles were a little short for leverage but had no trouble ricing 3lbs potatoes. Seems pretty sturdy so far, happy with purchase
