New Age Imports, Inc. India Small Decorated Brass Charcoal Screen Incense Burner with Wooden Coaster

I burn a lot of incense using charcoal briquettes and it makes an incredible mess afterwards, so when I saw this incense burner with a screen (see photos), I immediately purchased it. I love the look of this item, and it is 100% perfect for standard briquettes. This incense burner works beautifully (see video). In fact, using this burner negated me having to use tweezers to light the charcoal. Instead, I just placed the briquette on the screen and lit it using my lighter without a problem. However, that said, you still need to be careful because after the charcoal had been burning for only a few minutes, I touched the brazier and it was extremely hot—so hot that I couldn’t lift it. This brazier is really easy to use and, if placed in a fireproof location, is extremely sturdy and safe to use. In the attached video, I burned frankincense and this brazier filled the entire room with the scent. This is a wonderful product, just know that it is **not** the kind of burner that you can carry around.

Beautiful little incense burner. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and the wooden disk prevents the heat from damaging your table or counter top.

I did not realize it would be that small

I just received this little piece, and I'm already using it! I am surprised how "big and functional" this tiny piece is. For starts, I added some black sand 1 X 1lb Black Incense Burner Sand , into the bowl (about 2 heaping TBSPs) to fill the bowl about 1/3rd of the way. I put the screen back on (to where the screen it dips in), placed the incense burner with coaster on a small decorative plate, then placed a charcoal disk/briquette Kwik Lite Brand Quick Lighting Long Lasting Incense Burner Charcoal Briquette Tabs - 100 Per Box on the screen and lit it. After the charcoal was lit, I added organic frankincense 100% Pure Organic Frankincense Resin / Tears - 8oz - High Quality - By Sweet Essentials and myrrh Myrrh Resin - Organic - 1/2 lb resin on top of the briquette. It is heating the resin beautifully and giving off a very pleasant aroma through the smoke. --With using a plate, under this incense burner and it's coaster, I was able to easily walk throughout the house carrying and delivering this pleasant scent everywhere. This was my first time using a charcoal incense burner. It does deliver more smoke than your typical incense sticks and cones. Paying under $7 shipped, this is definitely a good bargain. The size is perfect for it's function. I almost purchased a larger one at twice the price, but now I am happy that I didn't. This piece is adorable with nice detailing, and it is sturdy and well crafted for it's size and function. I would definitely recommend. Edit to add: I guess I don't need the sand, but a little at the bottom looks cool anyway. lol The ash that falls to the bottom is seriously not too hot.

Works great. I use it with the 33mm charcoals and get several charges of resin . Well made. Beautiful piece!

I'm returning because they failed to give me the charcoal in the photo. This doesn't seem like iron as it's not very heavy. It will still work for the job to burn frankincense resin.

This item is smaller than you might think, but it's just the right size for the charcoal tablets. Looks awesome and works great. Shipped very quickly.
