Get weird! Show up with a 15" speaker!
Love this big guy. What we have here is a big, solid-sounding 15-incher. I'm using it in a Quilter 15-inch Blockdock cabinet, which is open-backed. To my ear, it sounds completely inoffensive in every way. I dislike a lot of Celestion speakers, as I find them spikey (Vintage 30) or papery (G12h30, G12-75) sounding. This is not those speakers. It reminds me a little more of my favorite speaker - the Eminence Cannabis Rex, though it's a little more present in the upper mids, without approaching the brain-piercing spikes of the Vintage 30. I'd say this is a speaker that's British, but also quite neutral. It's not over-anundant in the low end, but not lacking, either. If you want high-gain chugging, find a closed-back cab and you're probably good to go. In my open-back, cleans and snarly dirt all sound good.

Just an exceptionally nice-sounding replacement speaker for vintage tube amps.
I put this speaker in my 1974 Fender Vibrosonic Reverb amplifier, in place of a JBL D130F. In a head-to-head comparison of those two speakers, I honestly found the Celestion Fullback sounds every bit as great as the JBL. The low end is firm, the mids are smooth and the high end is sweet.

Perfect for what I needed
Arrived quickly, well packaged and once I put in my 83ish Fender Bassman 20 it worked perfectly. No complaints here

Full bodied tone
Very full sound with added low end. Kind of a greenback sound with extra oomf. Sounds great with my mini recto.
