Sony cam is a great product line. Simple and easy to handle, compact design, user friendly, great video and picture quality even in low light, the 4K is amazingly crisp and clear with fantastic color display.The range of the zoom is insane, and can even be set from basic to ultra zoom. Fantastic stabilization with the swivel lens, and various auto features that make this camera a breeze.One thing I do not like, no lights. The previous models had built in lights with the feature to be able to attach added lighting or microphone peripherals to the top of the camera. This camera only has the feature to attach lights. Good thing it records well in low light.Overall: Really good camera, easy, user friendly, great quality video. No built in lights, must purchase separately.

I am so pleased with this camera after3 years that I bought a 2nd one. I’m a Dj and have used it at a ton of weddings. With half way decent light it shoots amazing 4K video. And the on board mics doing a really good job on recording clear high quality audio, voice and music.

I’ve had this camera for about three years and have used it mostly for recording for my YouTube channel (Shaggycheekwoodworks, if you wanted to see the quality). Also, I used it heavily during the height of pandemic life for web streaming (requires an adapter sold separately).I can tell you that it takes amazing macro footage and decent wide shots. The sensor is not huge so color is not as vibrant as it could be with a larger sensor, that being said, color can be fixed in post anyhow if being used for traditional recording.Image stabilization is pretty amazing as well because the camera has a built in gimbal of sorts. I haven’t done much without a tripod, but what I have done has turned out good.I’ve used this both with the internal mics and with a stereo matched set of condenser mics in a studio set up. Of course the condenser studio combo is superior, however the internal mics do the trick in a pinch.All in all this camera is a good purchase, the only downside is that it won’t do 4K at 60fps, and the supplied battery doesn’t last very long (for long recordings; getting some aftermarket batteries helped). I had to keep mine plugged in, which adds risk for knocking it over when on a tripod and moving around it (this happened in the cypress shelf video).

camera is not functioning as expected because it is shutting down every 5 minutes and get back on by itself.

This is one of the best cameras for the price for a small handheld 4K output. Use this for a video and it compares very good to the JVC 4K camera that I have.

I liked the smooth video and performance in low light. Navigation and user interface is not intuitive at first.
