Ossur/royce Medical Afo Leaf Spring Size: Small/ Medium Left (o-110227)

I have tried 3 different braces for foot drop. This is the best for comfort and effectiveness.Fits well in shoe. Padding around calf reduces pressure. Place your insole on top of foot portionin the shoe and it is very comfortable to wear!

This fits very comfortably in my shoes without stretching them at all. My shoes are size 7 M. I did not need to cut it down at all. It fits perfectly. Not sure how long this will last so I ordered another one to have when that day comes. My only complaint is that the Velcro strap is stiff and does not conform to the shape of my leg. .Other than that, this is so much better than the ultra stiff AFO I was wearing that would fit in only one type of shoe and distorted it. Hated it. I would recommend this. .Amazon's price is good

I purchased this brace from Consumer Healthcare Products and can't begin to thank them enough for their great customer service. The Hospital for Special Surgery only gave me a few days notice that I had to start wearing this exact AFO in order to be included in a difficult case meeting to decide on surgical options. This company answered my email almost immediately and were able to rush the AFO to me. The AFO arrived in perfect condition and I was wearing it within days of my purchase.The AFO is sturdy and lightweight. Fits easily into sneakers. I'm 5'7" and is a perfect size. Foot does not slip in it at all and the open heel makes it more comfortable. Plenty of Velcro room in strap.

Cheaply made and not sized accurately.

Okay, here is my history, I got the cheaper leg brace a few months back and I have gotten enough mobility in my foot so that it started to cause problems with toe cramping, it was great while it worked. I went to another type of brace that lays on top of the foot and I could not get that puppy to fit comfortably nor did I feel secure in it. I work as a waitress and the on top of the foot brace caused major problems with cramping of the whole foot.I just got this brace and I have not worn it too work yet so I can't really speak to how it will feel or function as I run through work throw dishes on the table but I have worn it just through a regular day and had less trouble with toe cramps. I think it is over priced for what you get however.Will some one out there design one of these things that fit a human size calf. They are all designed to fit Munchkins and I may not be as big as a weight lifter but come on folks..my calf isn't THAT small.

I ordered this to help avoid catching my foot and falling as I walk. I have foot drop caused by a pinched nerve. While we are treating the condition and hope for recovery, I thought it was important to avoid risk of falling. By placing this in my shoe and putting the insole over it, it is comfortable and seems to be very effective. I find my foot does not drag and my step seems more normal. Some have complained that it was uncomfortable and rubbed their ankle but, I put the plastic bottom under the insole and always wear socks or footies with it and have not had a problem so far. Highly recommended.

It won't fit me. I'm going to see if I can attach more Velcro to make it larger, but this product is not made for "plus sized" people

I was uncertain how this brace would work, considering the relatively low price. But it really does the job. After spinal surgery I was left with a case of drop foot for which PT only helped marginally. This brace has helped improve my gait as well as prevent my tripping over my own foot.It seems well made and sturdy for everyday use.
