Definitely worth it especially in komifornia!
I used this motor and seal kit to replace the motor in the picture. Everything worked perfectly and basically saved me $1300. Why you say, well in komifornia the local pool companies are not allowed to sell you a single speed motor so you are forced to install a variable speed unit which I was quoted at $1500 installed. If you have basic skills all you need to do is watch a couple of YouTube videos and you should be able to knock it out! My pool is back to working great and the new motor is so much more quite!

Perfect 1:1 replacement motor
Had the unexpected and rather sudden motor failure. I carefully reviewed specs (size, amperage) and this new pump was a drop-in perfect fit.

Lemon motor
Motor worked for less than 3 hours before it shorted out. Installed by us but wired and checked by electrician. Not happy at all!

Great pump
I used this on my ancient Hot springs spa and it is an exact match. Went on easily just had to get a new seal for it from a local business and all is well.
