Gilbert WRS A-XV Training Rugby Ball Durable Water Resistant

I’ve been using this Gilbert rugby ball for a few weeks now, and it’s made such a difference in my training. The grip is solid without being too sticky, which is perfect for ball handling drills, passing, and kicking practice. It holds air really well and hasn’t warped at all—even after using it outdoors in all kinds of weather. The size is perfect for game days and practices. There is no leakage! What I love most is how reliable it feels. I don’t have to second-guess how it’s going to fly or bounce during drills, which helps me focus on improving my technique. It’s also super durable—I’ve taken it through full scrimmages, wet grass, and a lot of solo workouts, and it still looks and feels brand new. If you're serious about getting better and want a ball that can keep up with your practices, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommend for players at any level!

You can’t go wrong. It’s a classic. Will buy over and over again. You need to inflate it but the air retention is great. Grip is nice & the size is perfect.

I Chat GPT’d the best rugby balls for my daughter to practice with. The most recommended was this one. It was the same price on Amazon, or less, so I bought it here. I was slightly concerned with the reviews that said the ball leaked air, but we’re not having any issues like that. I pumped it up slowly and added air throughout the day until we hit the recommended pressure. It dropped a bit over the next few days as the ball stretched, but then it stopped. Over the next three weeks it hasn’t lost noticeable pressure and is good to go. Overall, it’s the exact ball that I wanted, at the lowest price I could find, with prime overnight delivery and the 30 day return policy. Perfect! Recommended.

Good grip and good price

We bought this ball twice within a couple weeks. Both times, the shipping was fast and I give that a 5 star. The only issue I had was that with the fist ball, we pumped it up and my son played with it only a handful of time before it broke. It lost air, so we pumped it up a little and it apparently continued to loose air and deflate. The final time we pumped it up a little more than normal to keep it full a little longer, only the whole ball popped! I am giving this ball a 4 star because so far it's been ok and I do believe the original ball we had was defective. So far, so good, but we've only had it a couple of days, so time will tell.

Good texture and holds air well. Correct size for teen/adult games. Will keep using for years.

Great ball. Has remained inflated for over 3 weeks.

just like the one I used in college but smaller. My son absolutely loves it. Apparently my neighbor loves the ball a lot too we've booted into his yard so many times he said next time it happens he's keeping it. I can't blame him Gilbert makes a good rugby ball
