ArchwayCookies, Crispy Windmill, 9 Ounce (Count of 9) Pack of 1

This is an old-timey cookie that has been around for decades. They were once very common and you could find various brands of "windmill cookies" in the store. Not so much anymore and the few brands I found tasted like cardboard.The Archway brand is truly the original. The flavor is spicey, they are thicker (to avoid breakage) and have plenty of almond slices. They are so good with a cold glass of milk, tea or coffee.Buying in bulk (9 boxes) brings the price way down. So glad Amazon has these...can't find the Archway version locally.

All the ingredients like cinnamon, almonds, nutmeg, cloves, & molasses make me think of Christmas . So Delicious! I dunk them in everything...Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, or plain milk. I also crumble them up in my favorite old fashion vanilla ice cream. YUM!

My husband loves these cookies. I was paying more at the local store when they had this brand in stock. Found them on Amazon almost $1 cheaper. Bought a case of them hubby was estatic!! I was unhappy so far he has ate 3 boxes and every cookie is broken in all boxes. Not so greatof value. Dont plan on giving these away or using for guest unless you like cookie pieces!! The cookies were fresh and taste just like I remembered. Packaging for shipping needs to be better.

I was a little hesitant to go for the 9-box option after reading some of the reviews that mentioned broken cookies, and close or past expiration dates. I decided to throw caution to the wind because I wasn’t about to pay $9 for a single package (although three were advertised).Well, all I can say is that my little beauties must have gotten the white glove treatment; they’re in perfect condition. The expiration date (a big concern of mine because I live alone) is five months away. (Since it’s only the sell date, I know I have plenty of time to spare.)Now….the most important part—the taste. First I took a little whiff and I was immediately brought back to my childhood kitchen and the excitement I’d feel when Mom got windmill cookies. Then the first amazing crispy bite; to call it paradise is shortchanging the incredible flavor from those crazy kid days.Don’t wait. Buy them now. They’ll bring you all the way back without taking you all the way to the bank. Excuse me now. I have some munching to do.Correction: some boxes have cookies that are broken in two—no smaller than that.

Archway Windmill cookies are my favorite in the world, but no stores around here sell them. When I found them on Amazon I was very excited and ordered a case (nine packages). I have only opened three packages as yet, but all the cookies in all the packages have been broken into pieces. I was very disappointed, but put them in my cookie jar anyway. They still smell and taste wonderful. Just don't look at them.

I only received one box of 12 cookies instead of 9 boxes like I was expecting. For $30, that makes them some pretty expensive cookies. What a rip off
