After listening to their first two albums, I really didn't know if they could top themselves for their third effort. But lo and behold, they did it! I adore this album!My favorite song on this album (and my all-time favorite song by Reckless Love) is "Night On Fire". Excellent beat, lyrics, guitars, and vocals. Everytime I listen to it, I can't help but air-guitar the entire 3:26 minute run-time.Other favorite songs include "Bad Lovin'," "Edge of our Dreams," "Sex, Drugs, and Reckless Love," "Runaway Love," "So Happy I Could Die," and "Hot Rain".If you need a new soundtrack for Summer, I definitely recommend not only this album, but also Reckless Love's first two albums. These guys rock!

Reckless Love has released several albums now; their first two were very good, but only teased at the true greatness this band is capable of. With "Spirit," they up the ante a few notches, adding in sharper hooks, better production, and superb songcraft as they deliver their most consistent album yet.Standouts include the Hysteria-era Def Leppard-esque "Favorite Flavor," the power ballad "Edge of our Dreams," which recalls Def Leppard's "Love Bites," and "Sex, Drugs, and Reckless Love."This album will take you right back to 1987, and it is just a great time. Rock and roll, the way it used to be!!

This is just pure fun, Reckless Love are the reigning king's of the new wave of hair metal. Every song on this offering is a hit, full of big hooks, heavy harmonies and gang vocal sing-a-longs. This disc has everything on it that you love from the 80's done 21st century style. It have you any of their other albums you'll know what I'm talking about. They haven't changed anything, they continue to use the same formula that works so well for them. Why are you still reading this, just go buy it.

Great CD. The songs are excellent, very rockin'. If you like the "hair metal" style of music, this band is for you! I would definitely recommend you buy this CD, it's well worth it.

Spirit is a throw back 2 the 80's Glam Rock done well without the "chess"!!!

I love this cd great buyer great music from a great band

I got this album for my boyfriend because we both love this band. They are modern day 80s hair metal rockers and they are awesome! It also came way before I expected it to. It said it would be here the day after my boyfriend's birthday, but it actually came almost 2 weeks early. Very happy about that.

Their third release is their best. I loved the previous two releases as anyone spending anytime in my car will testify - Animal Attraction has not been off the CD rotation for over a year!This is is rammed full of catchy, stamp your feet hair metal - exactly what Reckless Love does best. Bad Lovin and I love Heavy Metal are so addictive they'll be playing away in your head for a long time.Can't wait to see the guys play these new songs live. All in all a fantastic record - if you haven't bought it yet, go do it now - this is too good to miss out on!

With 'Spirit' Reckless Love have created their best record yet. Start to finish the album is filled with energy, joy, catchy choruses and infectious guitar play. The quality of the songwriting has improved and is more consistent than on their previous two albums - there really isn't a bad song on this one.Tracks like 'Night on Fire, 'Bad Lovin' and 'Sex, Drugs & Reckless Love' provide a superb hard rock party. But the album also includes some of the best ballads the band has done so far. Especially 'Edge of our Dreams' is a stand-out track, keeping the energy of the rest of the album yet with a more emotional and sensitive touch, making it a pretty unique song.Reckless Love are here to brighten the day, throw a party and put a big smile on your face. And isn't that the best thing music can do?

Finnish rockers, Reckless Love, fail not to impress with yet another stonking album full of merry metal mayhem and delight. Just as with all their other efforts, something slightly different was put into this album, to show they are evolving as a band.Instead of me boring you all with a long drawn out review, I shall no longer waste time you'd find better spent purchasing this album and enjoying the fantastic ride.Highlights for me were the lead single, "Night On Fire", superb ballad "Edge Of Our Dreams" and the rip roaring "Metal Ass" which shows the band's diversity. Arrived extremely promptly.Reckless Love keep on moving in the right direction with this album, the follow up to Animal Attraction, and keep getting better too!Well worth picking up for fans of glam rock.The best tracks are " Bad Lovin' " and " Sex, Drugs & Reckless Love ".

If you love classic, catchy hard rock then this is for you! Taking the basic premise of the first two albums & adding additional depth in both songwriting terms and sound production Reckless Love are the total antithesis to modern day moans & groans about the recession etc. This is the type of album to be played in the car with the window open on your way to another fun day out!Well recommended, do not hesitate to buy :)
