Great fun.
Easy to use light . Connected easily to the app and now Alexa can control the light. I've the Amazon Echo 2nd gen.Alexa can control on/off and change the colours .The app itself can do all this with some features that Alexa can't do.Very bright for my room and having the chance to change the white light to warm white is great. So far so good. With Alexa I can actually set it to turn the light on or off at set times. Brilliant.Well worth the money.Had no issues at all. At the moment we have the light on flashing through all the colours like a disco with Alexa playing the tunes.Good fun for kids

Could be easier to install, but good value once achieved.
I bought these to compliment my array of smart devices that I have connected through Alexa including plug sockets and Phillips Hue bulbs, via my Echo+. Setup for the previous devices was straightforward enough, but for these it was a complete headache ! Having now finally managed it I can confirm that it is without doubt worth the effort as the bulbs are plenty bright enough for most applications on the white setting, and has a comprehensive selection of colours available with both the saturation and brightness of the colours available for customisation. It took me several hours to get these up and running, along with plenty of head-scratching and pulling out of hair and here's what I ended up doing to sort it, I hope it might help someone else to achieve the results I got in somewhat less time.First and foremost is to remember that these bulbs (as with about 99% of other smart sockets/bulbs) will only work with 2.4 ghz wifi. This means that if you generally use 5ghz these won't ever connect. Most 5ghz routers do have the ability to switch to 2.4 ghz if you know how. This is how I do it myself. Bring up a command prompt on your PC by typing "cmd" into the search box bottom left of your pc monitor (win10) type "ipconfig" into the black cmd box which will reveal a kind of menu of your ip addresses allocated on your network. Look down until you see the term "default gateway" the numbers in my instance were 192.168.1.1 this is the address of your router. Type your number into the address bar of a web browser and press enter, you should now be presented with the access panel of your router. I can't help with the username or password needed to gain entry to your specific router, but you should have them somewhere (possibly on the rear of the router). Once inside the routers settings you need to look for a way to turn OFF 5ghz frequency (this will disconnect anything currently running on 5ghz, including in my case, Alexa) Don't worry that this might cause issues with anything on 5ghz as once the bulbs have been set up you can then reactivate the 5ghz connection on your router. My next issue came where the Smart Life app (Android version) simply wouldn't find any of the bulbs, no matter how many times I tried. I know for 100% certainty that my wifi password was correct as I had to manually input this for each bulb several times, but here's what I found. Once inside my routers settings, I changed my password on the 2.4ghz frequency to a relatively simple one (my previous one included (.-_= etc) whilst leaving the original password for the 5ghz frequency. I also went to the extent of using an extension lamp holder to enable me to place the bulb as close to the router as possible to remove any possible issues with range. Once I had followed that procedure and put both the bulb and mobile phone near the router I ran the setup procedure as directed in the Smart Life app again and Bobs your Uncle ! You only need the bulb as close as possible to the router for setup as once completed you should be able to relocate as required. I should add that it may well have worked without the extension bulb fitting, but after pulling out my hair for so long it was something I had to hand that removed a potential problem. I should also mention that in order to give myself the optimum chance of success I also deleted the 5ghz connection on my mobile phone and ensured that I was connected to my wifi via 2.4 ghz, again to remove any potential issue. Now finally set up and all bulbs and their colours available I hit upon yet another problem. Now that I had changed the password on the 2.4 ghz frequency of the router, none of the previously installed plugs and bulbs would connect via wifi as they had the old password installed, so I found myself spending another few hours going through the whole setup procedure all over again for those !!! Having said all that, the result is one I'm pleased with. Remember too that any devices that previously didn't work (if you had to change the password as I had to) will then need to be reconnected through Alexa using the relevant procedure. All in all a faff of a procedure but ultimately worth it and I think I'll be buying more when they come on offer again :)Oh .............. don't forget to reactivate the 5ghz frequency on your router, if like me your Alexa uses 5ghz to connect, otherwise Alexa turns into an expensive paperweight !!!!!!! Luckily for me my router has the ability to have different passwords for each frequency so I didn't need to reset Alexa and start all over.

Good, but not perfect.
After recently becoming a proud Echo owner, I thought I would look at some of the smart home tech available.Smart bulbs seemed like a logical step, so I bought some of these. I opted for the 9W ones, as I have 9W LED bulbs already, and knew they are bright enough.Installation was super easy. The app is clear, and it all just seems to work. They also appeared within the Alexa app almost immediately, which was great. They work great using the Smart Life app, and colour changes are smooth. Alexa is also able to control colour and brightness, when setting up a routine, which is a nice little touch. Alexa is not able to cycle through the colours though, this seems to be a feature that is exclusive to the Smart Life app.Timers, or schedules, can be set too. Not that I have used this feature yet.My only critic is that they are not particularly bright, even at 100%, which is a shame. Doesn't seem like a 9W LED to me, but then it could just be me.Will I be buying more? Yep. I could really do with another 2 or 3. Maybe next month.

Would definitely buy again.
I've used other colour changing led WiFi bulbs in the past, some from major brands but the cost is normally quite a lot. I wanted to add a bit of colour to a music room we just decorated, and this multi pack was the perfect choice for the main room light and a lamp. They're super easy to install physically, and to connect to the WiFi app. I used the same Tuya Smart app that I had for other bukds from different supp, rather than the separate app it recommended in the instructions, but it connected much easier to my WiFi than the previous suppliers..It only works on 2.4ghz so if you have a dual band router, you'll need to connect it to the 2.4 not 5ghz band. Simple enough though. The connection is really stable, ut works via the Tuya app, and my amazon alexa app and devices. All working perfectly.

Love them: Really easy to set up and Save Electricity
I use these all over the house now and control them with Amazon Alexa. Each bulb has its individual name (eg, "The Landing", "The Bathroom", "Bed light One" & "Bed Light two") so Alexa can control each light independently but, moreover, I have them in "a group" so all the aforementioned lights are grouped together and named "The Bedroom".So! When I go upstairs to bed I just say, "Alexa, turn on the bedroom" and all those lights come on together. Then I can turn each one off independently just by voice control. I use the same system downstairs and it is invaluable when one is moving around the house carrying a tray of food, for instance; total hands-free control. The bulbs are LEDs so the rating for each bulb is 9 watts, which means the cost of running a bulb is just over one tenth of a penny per hour. But, with Alexa voice control there is no excuse for leaving them on. Cost saving all the way.

Das macht wirklich etwas her.

Einfach, schnell, etwas dunkel
