Lots of things on the plus side: The lamp is well made, very good light output, and the color temperature is good- the light is not blueish. Produces a very even light with no hot spots due to the diffuser. The goose neck retains its shape and stays where you put it. The base is heavy enough so the lamp does not topple over. The housing never gets hot because of the low power draw. The lamp is compact and doesn't eat up a lot of desk space.There is one problem, which some people may not care about. The white diffuser sticks out from the housing by about 1/8 inch. This produces a ring of light around the lamp housing which you can see even if the lamp is aimed away from you. I find it a distraction and somewhat annoying. If the diffuser had been flush or recessed, this would not happen.FIX- you can use a black magic marker and darken the plastic around the diffuser circumference. Or, since this lamp is black, you can run a strip of black electrical tape around the housing to cover the white plastic that protrudes. That's what I did. It works and is almost invisible.

While I like how the lamp is flexible, It needs some sort of shade around the bright white light. The lamp is not dimmable and the bright white that you see in the picture is plastic covering the lights. It is so bright that we have to turn it away completely as not to hurt our eyes. Which defeats the point of the area on our desk that we are trying to light.

I like the simple design style of the desk lamp. It uses LED bulb so the light is quite comfortable. The brightness is also good for reading. The bulb is built in, this makes the lamp look artistic but you can't change it.

9 bucks ... that's what I paid for this. But only 4-stars because the listing says the lamp is "dimmable" ... it's not. Other than that, it's lightweight with sturdy construction. The adjustable head is a nice addition - allowing you point the light where it's most needed.

The dimmer is good, however this lamp is not strong enough to use on small print or for fine details. I use it as a desk lamp, but there are some times that I need a brighter lamp. For me, it's best as auxiliary lighting for working on a computer.

This lamp fulfills all the requirements for a desk or night table light. Plenty of light for reading comfortably without being over bright. The design is very nice and you get good value for the price.

Good bedside lamp. Not sure if like it as much on the desk because it doesn't get really bright. I love the dimming feature. Also, the covered bulb ensures it can be safely knocked over as that does happen to bedside lamps on occasion.

As I was setting it up today I noticed it is brighter then the light I currently have in that space so I will be ordering 1 more. You will not be disappointed in this lamp it us the best lamp I have ever bought.
