These filters work well and don't tend to get clogged up.
I know some are all about pressure changes, and a few of the upper ones have slightly better figures, but what is not talked about is the pressure changes over time.1000s don't tend to clog up as much, and you don't really have to worry about forgetting these to a certain point. I wouldn't run one over three months unless by accident, but you could probably get away with it. These are close to fiberglass designs but absolutely much better at filtering your home. Even when very dirty you can still see through a tiny bit, so you never get full blockage unless you are seriously forgetting to change them for months one end. But it's good to always keep your eye on furnace filters during dustier times. Keep your furnace healthy and change them out as needed.Pricing is not too bad and not too great here. Is what it is I guess. Filtrete still stands as one of the best out there, so you do get what you pay for on the market. Anything over MERV 11 and you probably need to change them out a decent amount more and keep watch often in my experience. These ones tend to last me a couple months with the fan on at all times. Upon taking out the filter it's usually not that bad and you can easily see through the fibers, despite some minor pressure changes. When trying higher MERV filters, I found that after a month they really tended to get blocked up quite badly the higher you go during dusty months of the season. While some old timers swear by using nothing but crappy fiberglass, that just lets in way too much dust in certain areas of the house and does almost no filtering at all. That's not gonna slide with all the expensive tech I have in my house. These are a compromise that has worked for a long time without issue.

The Best!!!!
we tried a few of the much cheaper brands.... with much regret. These come packaged well EVERYTIME! They are sturdy and don't bend from the pressure of the furnace fan. We won't ever stray from these. Yes, they are some of the most expensive option out there... and totally worth it.

Well Made, a snug fit!
These 3M filters are definitely a step up in quality, with thicker filter material and careful construction. No gaps anywhere! They are sized slightly larger than the ones I'm used to, so they fit very snugly in the filter slot which is a good thing as it reduces any chance of unfiltered air slipping around the edges. Might be difficult to remove though when the time comes. Very happy with these and will buy them again even though they are pricey.

Great price!
We always have a hard time finding this size for our home. These are a great price and work well.

Nearly as good as Merv 12, a bit pricy
This review is for the six pack of MERV 11 filters. After switching from a reusable filter several years ago, I have been using the 3M Filtrete brand filters for a while now. I have previously been using the 3M Filtrete Merv 12 filters (MPR 1500), but they have gone way up in price over the past year or so, nearly doubling in price, as I paid 60 for a six pack when I purchased them a couple years ago and they are now around 100. These Merv 11 (MPR 1000) are cheaper at around 66 bucks and only slightly less effective, according to the ratings of what the filter catches. I still think these are a bit pricy per filter. The six pack is a bit better priced but still expensive. These filters are made well and filter the air very well, although not quite as well as the Merv 12 versions, which is to be expected. However, the difference is only slight between the two.The biggest thing I noticed between the two types of filters is there more slats in the Merv 12 version than this filter and the Merv 12 has additional metal lining on it. I have attached photos to show the differences between the two, with a new Merv 12 on top of the Merv 11 on the bottom. The difference in filtering is only slightly less though, and I personally don’t feel that paying an addition 40 bucks that the other filters are selling is worth the slightly more effective filtering. The filters fit in the HVAC slot like they are supposed to do with no issues, as the filters are supposed to fit without forcing them in. Pay close attention to the arrow pointing to the direction of the airflow as the filter needs to be installed the right direction to do its job properly. One thing that I will note to watch out for. I ordered these and initially received by mistake, the Filtrete Basic filters (MPR 300), that were mismarked as the Merv 11 (MPR 1000), a big difference in both price and overall filtering ability. I noticed that the box had already written on it that someone returned for the same problem. So, make sure that you check the description on the box (which should be a 3M labeled box), as well as on the filter package inside to make sure it matches the description of what you ordered. The first box that I received and filters inside said basic air filters, when they should have said micro-allergen defense.Overall, good quality filters, but pricey. Since these boxes look similar and mistakes can happen, make sure the product matches the description of what you ordered.4 stars

Excellent quality
These are made of quality materials and will stand up to the Ac suction. Best quality and value. These will last longer than the el cheapos.

Micro Allergen Filters for Better Breathing
First, I would like to say that this size filter is very difficult to find in the store. I am grateful to be able to make the purchase on Amazon. These filters seem to make the air cleaner than ordinary filters and even if they are a bit more in price, it's worth it's the difference. I change them about every 4 months.

Great filter, RIDICULOUS price!
I love this filter, but last time we ordered we paid right at $100 for six on Amazon, now they are $147 for six. We went to target website and they are $83.34 for six, the exact same filter, exact same size, that is a 24 x 30. SMDH
