Naseeb is a classic indian film with all the over the top drama, love scenes and songs. Growing up with this film as a kid ive never forgotten how much I loved this film. What more can I say other than if your into Indian films buy it. The film is about 3 young boys 2 of whom are brothers, the other is a friend. The main character johnny is a waiter who's father is believed to be dead and is in disgrace after supposedly killing an old friend. Love comes in between friends and hearts are broken, bad vs good the usual story line.Over all the film is brilliant, with English subtitles.

Print is not very clear

The classic film, which I returned to for the first time since 1984. I was glad I did, as I found myself, all these years later, excitedly rooting for the good guys to overcome the sleazy, bad guys. It's heartwarming stuff that doesn't date.Only downsides - picture and subtitles. The print is certainly watchable, but it's not from the master tape or any other similar quality tape. The subtitles sometimes fail to synchonize with the action which can make understanding confusing (and therefore hard work to follow). It ought to be put right by the makers of the DVD.

I have watched this movie countless times since I was a small child. I'm old now and still love it as much as ever although the style has dated massively. Regardless, the story is a fun melodrama, with romance, bromance, betrayals, explosions and a revolving restaurant (so 70s!). Amitabh is a joy to watch and the other stars ably support and complement him: Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor, Om Puri and even a fleeting cameo by Dharmendra. Fab!

This film has everything you would expect from a smash hit and in my view this film was well ahead of its times. A mixture of friendship, betrayal, love and classic songs, therefore a typical Bollywood blockbuster, which no doubt will live long in the memories of the over 30's.An amazing cast, coupled with a great story line makes this film a must see for all Amitabh Batchan fans.
