All the features you want in a DVD player. Construction is superior, too. Regions free is key. Glad that's not an issue, any longer. Picture is great. Remote works great as the signal is picked up a lot easier than a previous DVD player I owned. Very user friendly. Manual is very sparce, however, but haven't had a need for it. I can tell there is less skippage in the DVD than my previous player, as I have played some beaters w. little to no issue. I always use w. headphone jack, and this jack is supported with some good material-won't break and get stuck in the player as is the case with my old one. Sleek, handsome look. Looks almost identical to a full size laptop. At less than $100 dollars, I consider this product an exceptional value. No buyers remorse here! Thanks HiFun! :)

The media could not be loaded.  I was very impressed with the screen size of this DVD player. I like that the screen can be twisted around and there are screw holes on the back, so you could very well mount it to a wall. The picture was ok and the sound was good. The remote works well. The battery lasts a significant amount of time. It’s worked well on trip in the car. It keeps my little one preoccupied. And again the screen size is phenomenal. It’s well made and solid, as is the remote control. Everything you need is included minus the DVD itself. I would get another one if I had more than one kid. We all in my family, really likes it and are really happy with it.

I have been wanting one of these for awhile to use in a spare bedroom where I do different crafts. We don't have a TV in there and really didn't want one but I do have a lot of movies that I can watch/listen to while I crochet. I ordered this player on the 16th, got it on the 18th, I was eager to check it out so after reading the instructions (I thought) I plugged it in and put in the DVD and then nothing, it would not come on, not load DVD nothing. I thought maybe it had to have the remote to work so I got it out of box put batteries in (not included) and still nothing! After a few choice words and a couple of minutes of fuming I calmed down and started looking more closely at player and got the instructions to see what all the little slots, buttons, etc did on the side. And there clear as can be was the off/on button, I turned it on (feeling like a idiot and glad no witness)it came on and immediately the DVD started loading, it was not loud and was faster than I thought it would be and then the DVD started to play, the picture was great and the sound was better than I expected also. Granted I haven't had it a long time but each disc I have played have had the same results. I am so glad I got this and play on using it a lot. I definitely recommend it.

I bought this player for my 80 year old mother who has some difficulties with her vision. The light-weight player's huge screen and large operator buttons are fantastic! She can easily navigate the controls. The remote unit's buttons stick when depressed and are a pain in the neck. As advertised, the until is Region Free, which means that it will recognize and play discs from all 8 of the World's regions. The unit will not play discs formatted for MP4, which is a problem for us as most of my copied discs are in the MP4 format. The unit plays music CDs that are in the MP3 format. The unit's two speakers are very nice. As advertised, this player is NOT a Blue Ray player. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of this DVD player. I sure wish it could play our MP4 formatted movies!

Hello all, this an special toy for anyone, a have technical skills so I will try explain some features.- Is big same as 15.6" or 17" inch laptop and looks the same, is fat but not uncomfortable, is lighter than a portable computer.- It reads any DVD, original, backup, home made and any region. Plays smoothly.- You can play AVI video files, for optimal playback you should use video conversion application for your file:The supported formats are, Video XViD, DiVX or MP4; scale 720x576, 23 FPS; (480x320 for MP4 videos); aspect 16:9, Audio MP3 128 kbps.- The screen is pretty descent and have good colors, sharpness and brightness.- Battery life can be increased to 7 hours using an USB drive or an SD card (not largen than 32GB, ***Try to use USB 2.0, 3.0 devices can get warm***, format FAT32).- The case feels cheap as the controls, it comes with a very useful remote.- The software it's easy.- You can attach this this to the TV using and old RCA cable and shutdown the LCD display.- Audio is good also.- No HDMI out.Have a nice day.

The "manual" that comes with this DVD player isn't extremely helpful, but I still figured out how to play movies. I'm not a dummy when it comes to electronics, but I'm not an expert either. The things I'm unsure about, I could always try looking up the term on the internet to hopefully find it explained. I charged the battery when I got it, and it easily played two movies and then some. I haven't noticed if it shows somewhere how much battery life is left. Picture and sound are very good. Love the swivel screen! One time I put it on pause and was gone longer than I had expected. The screen saver was on when I came back. The remote is small, and I did use it to adjust volume but nothing else yet. I bought this when it was about $25 off for a short time. Well worth the money and very happy I bought it!

I purchased this DVD player mainly for camping. Got to test it out last week. It was marvellous watching movies outside! Very easy to use and the picture was great! The sound did not go high enough so I purchased external speakers. Next week I’ll get to test those! Great player and great price! Thank you!

Great value for money. Very good battery life and fast charging. Looks good too.My, the screen is big.Was going to a get a dvd player for home. This comes with included RCA cable so two birds with one stone.

Very good screen size, swivel feature is also very good, weight is balanced, and easy to operate. Only a minor negative, the casing is plastic. A purchase I am most satisfied with.

I chose this portable DVD player based on prior reviews and this is the first time I’ve ever had need for one. It’s be used mainly for yoga videos so I can avoid practising in front of our TV/DVD player which also requires rearranging the family room furniture each day. This is the perfect solution for me, as I can free myself from the front of the TV which I make a practise of minimizing watching at the best of times. I am very impressed by both the visual and sound quality of this portable DVD player. The remote is a good size as well and the dimension of the screen is perfect, not too small, not too big. I’m delighted with this purchase and all in all, it’s exceeded my expectations!

I purchased this DVD player due to it's silent technology and large screen size. It's easy to use and looks like a computer. Definately recommed.

I only used this player 4 times when it would not load the dvd & getting No Disc ....I tried to contact the seller but they did not return my message...I corrected the problem myself with alcohol & a cotton swab but what if that didn't work...I would have been stuck with a player that I paid 223.00 for....very poor service.
