SweetGourmet Classic Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Squares, Peanut Brittle Candy, 2 Pound

2 Pounds of pure bliss. This Peanut Brittle has just the right amount of slat and peanut buttery flavor. The bag it comes in is great and sturdy, as its one of those aluminum/plastic bags, with a ziploc type seal to keep fresh. This are about 5/16 thick, and have a great crunch. As far as the cost, the value for the money is great. I looked at a few different brands and the ratings to cost ratio led me to try this. Highly recommended! Even packed in the USA!

I’ve ordered these for the last 2 years. They are always fresh and taste great.

As the listing shows, each piece is a 1 inch square, crunchy and chock full of peanuts bonded together in a mild sweet coating. Very good tasting but the listing photo is misleading, the squares are quite pale with zero brown color which would give off a slightly caramel flavor. Thus only 4 Stars. On my next purchase, I will miss all the peanuts in these, but will go with an p-brittle made the old fashion way. It's the flavor man, the p-brittle flavor is what I want.

Just okay. Will not buy again. Another review said it was just like Planter's peanut block - i think it similar, but not as good. This item is a bit lacking in flavor. Lance peanut bar is better.

They were very fresh and good

Packaging seems pretty solid , resealable bag that holds up well. I can say that they are nicely cut into the 1 inch squares mostly . The taste was not even present . I tasted a lil bit of salt and maybe some sugar . I felt like I was putting hardened squares of high fructose corn syrup and salt in my mouth . The texture was more uniform than the others I have tasted . Thruout the day I have nibbled at pieces hoping that I had a naughty piece. It hasn't gotten better . The corn syrup doesn't even really taste sweet . If this is " the most delectable gourmet experience the world has to offer " then we're all in BIG trouble . Texture is all right. It's not going to be soft but the sugar they used sticks to your teeth not like have ever seen with quality brittle. It doesn't feel sticky due to it being coated in a fine salt dusting . Since food is non returnable I suppose that I can donate it to a person that I used to know since they do well on turning a man's trash into treasure , they can figure this one out . I eyed this product for a few months because of the price but it's so not worth it .. it's not even worth the 1 star . Get the one in the bucket or smaller bag .
